The whole aesthetic of this game is very charming. Character designs are funny and the music is great. However, the rhythm based combat is a mixed bag for me. For the life of me, I could not figure out when to do the first hit in the sequence (after “Go!”). I don’t know if there’s any way to make that that timing a little clearer. The enemies also seemed to have a lot of HP (me sucking at the combat probably didn’t help) and each battle went on for a long time. This will be a subjective experience for each player, but maybe consider ways to make it a little more user friendly. Regardless, it’s still a very polished game.
