Hey dev? The game didn't work for me for some unknown reason. I loaded it up but it was froze the moment the first level loaded I gave it 3 uninterrupted minutes but it never unfroze, I pressed down the WASD keys, arrow keys, shook my mouse around and no response from the game at all. Which is too bad because I was looked forward to see what was going on here in the level infront of me, so I can't properly review this game, the level it's self looked cool including the skybox, not having music hurts this game and I can't say anything about the controls case you know, could play it. I feel like if you fixed it in the small amount of time left in the jam you could have a good game here worthy of good ratings but for now? The game is two menus and virtually a png file stuck in a exe file

It is an ok game. Make sure to check out my game as well! :D

This didn't work for me for some reason. I loaded it up but it was frozen on the first frame of gameplay. I gave it at least 10 minutes but it never loaded, which is too bad 'cause I was really looking forward to playing this. I'm not gonna rate it on account of that, but I can still give a little feedback.

The artstyle looks awesome. That's one groovy skybox, and the title card with the same pattern was really eye catching. People were talking about control issues. I can't say for sure of course because I couldn't play it but I think I spotted a problem with the control layout. Using arrow keys for movement is the old style control scheme for before games had mouse control, so the right hand goes on the arrow keys and the left hand goes on the spacebar, which was usually interact back then, and then things like Ctrl, Shift, Z, X, C, and Alt were the shoot, run, jump, crouch, strafe, whatever keys. With mouse controls, you make it so the right hand controls the mouse with look, fire, and sometimes interact keys, and then the left hand goes onto WSAD as the movement keys with E or F as the interact key because they're in the perfect position for the index finger to press and then spacebar becomes jump because you can hit it with your thumb real quick. So the problem with your setup as it appears to be is that it requires you to have your right hand on the arrow keys and the mouse at the same time, which leads to awkward switching back and forth and being unable to move and look at the same time.

arrow keys aren’t used in this game, it does use wasd. Did I label it incorrectly somewhere?

Uh, title screen on the windows download version. Sorry, here I am explaining something super obvious that you didn't even do.

Developer

Sorry! I didn't even realize I mislabeled the controls because I was too tired.

Good game but has annoying controls!

Developer

Can you explain how the controls are annoying? I thought they were pretty standard for a first person game.

Well not annoying just that (maybe it’s from my end but they felt a bit off after pressing them)

Controls also bugged for me, but what I can glimpse from the first frame looked interesting! Also, a WebGL build would make a lot more people play your game!

The controls looked bugged for me as well. But from where I stood and have seen the game, it looked pretty cool!

For some reason non of the controls work for me and I am stuck in place- It looks like a nice game though...
