This is a very cute looking platformer! I like how colorful and inviting the graphics are, like a SNES game (are the assets from a SNES game?It looks uncanny!) It's also got a nice soundtrack, backstory, and menu. It's clear you put a lot of love into this game. I for one would really want to see where this grape goes in the future - I'm going to have to return to finish this one down the track!
As you say in the bio, the biggest area of improvement could probably be in the physics department. Jumping and inertia are hard to calculate and the character feels a little "heavy" as a result. Consider how the platforming design could help this - there's a lot of boosts where it's not clear whether to jump or not, narrow ledges/chasms etc. that can get a bit frustrating to navigate.

Thank you so much for the feedback! It was definitely SNES-inspired, drawing (heh) influences from Yoshi's Island and such. This is only the second time I've done a platformer game so I'm still trying to figure out what feels nice as far as the physics go. I've considered making the boosts autojump or something but that'll be for another time. I'm glad you liked it, I'm definitely considering taking the idea further!
