Nice pixel art! Very cute portraits for the party members!

Good selection of music and sound effects!

Really fun to play. Loved the references, the mini events that happened during the exploration and the final boss!

I read that you can hover over stuff to see more details but since the whole game is played using keyboard I didn't even think of touching my mouse. A small tip somewhere on the screen would help!

The art style is very consistent and the writing does help carry the game through.  The presentation as a whole is great with the enemy types, fonts, and UI being very coherent in presentation.

I think the game could use a few more numbers for displaying things like HP and stats. I would sometimes get a stat increase on a character and not be too sure what it means. There is also an issue where if you hover over an item the textbox explaining what the item does goes off the screen.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! You can actually see your HP and stats if you hover over the portraits, just like with items (though I guess I should have explained that somewhere).

Oh! So you can! Yeah, I think this may be just a case of needing a tutorial prompt or something akin to that.

I had fun playing through the stage, even though I'm not great at dungeon crawler games. The graphics, art style, and UI blend well together. The sound effects are good, though could use a bit more feedback.

I'd really like to see more features like trap floors or different types of walls and rooms. Still nice work!

Fun Game! Like the others said already, this Game really got many Balance Issues since the Boomerang is way too strong while you can always heal yourself and with that practically be immune to dmg. But otherwise really nice Game! Kinda hoped for mumeis dagger to be contained to sacrifice Irys for the greater good and for the memes xD

Really cool game! The movement reminds me a lot of that old PC maze screensaver. My only complaint is at one point I used the boomerang (which was in the second slot) and for some reason it used up the snail scroll (in the first slot) while still only having the effect of the boomerang. Definitely still good overall though!

Developer

Huh, good to know. I encountered the same bug during playtesting, but thought I might have just used the scroll and forgot. And due to randomness and me only having time for a few runs before the deadline, I didn't encounter it again. Anyway, thanks for the feedback!

Fun little dungeon crawler :)
I loved reading all the little events that happen in between (especially the one when Bae damages herself while trying to climb crates to show off heh) and seeing Mettaton Nerissa at the end as the final boss threw me off guard lmao
I think some gameplay variety during combat definitely would've helped since I'm not sure if it's the intended way to play, but I found myself just clicking the "Attack" option repeatedly each time and occasionally clicking "Heal" (Maybe something like having each of the members have their own unique spells or abilities?)

A fellow dungeon enjoyer I see ðŸ‘€. I love this kind of traditional dungeon crawler and you did a great job adapting it into one! There's no limit to some actions, so I found it's easy to spam them in fights (like heal and boomerang). I'm also curious what the "Wait" option was intended for, perhaps as a "defend" option?

Developer

The wait option simply skips your turn. You're right, it would've probably made more sense to make it a defense option, and honestly that wouldn't even have been hard to implement with the system I had in place. I simply didn't think of it, as there was just too much to keep track of while racing to finish the game. Thank you for the comment!

I really like the vibes of the game. Balance is a bit wonky, as up until the end you can just face tank and then suddenly Nerissa spams healing every turn. I really like the experience overall though!
