Historical Accuracy
We used the Radzivill chronicals as our main reference, image and information wise.

Thematic Relevance
Our game is about Olga of Kyiv's revenge on the group that assassinated her husband. We tell her tale as if a narrator is telling her story to someone else, who is attempting to fill in the blanks on how things went.

Disclaimers
We used the Dialogic plug-in for the Visual Novel sections, as well as free-to-use audio assets for non-human sound effects. For human sound effects, we used the voices of some volunteers from our game development students' group. All other assets were done by us.

It's a shame you didn't have enough time to finish this, because I really want to see the final product now! I see a lot of potential, and I love the aesthetic of it. The game is pretty incomplete as-is though, even the post-jam version, so it's hard for me to even give it an accurate rating... So yea, I really liked what I saw, and I hope you get to update the game once the jam is over :)

Hey, I decided to directly just play the "finished" version, since I won't be rating the games I'm playing anyways.

- I enjoyed the artstyle a fair bit, and the first lines clearly tell me what the game is about! I feel the UI for dialogue was a bit uninspired, but I doubt it had any real focus from you guys this time around. Would it be part of the re-design for this project?

- I enjoyed setting people on fire, although it took me a second to figure out how to do it. I was just dragging the torch rather than clicking at first.

- I like that there is a disclaimer of what "should have been" in there, but after I saw it a few times, I wondered if it was a good idea to refer to this within the game, and if it doesn't break immersion. I did enjoy the quality of the writing within the game, though, props for that!

- Ran into this bug(?) during this scene, and thought you might want to check it out. I couldn't quite figure out how to progress beyond this point.

Overall, had a great time trying this one out. Very fun take on the theme, and revenge was served both hot and cold! Thanks for making it, and persevering to finish it even past the deadline!

this is nice, love that you used Olga of Kiv

The setting and the visual novel sections were enjoyable. The art style was really appealing and fit the theme well. The mini games could have been a bit clearer, I was stuck on the beer game for awhile. Good entry, well done.

I was able to get through the game.  Great job! This must have taken quite a bit of work.  A lot of it was not completed but the dialogue was witty enough to smooth it over.  For my first several game jams, maintaining the scope of the project was a real struggle. for me as well.

I will say to anyone playing when you get to the part where you need to provide beer, click where the tutorial told you to click to fill the tankard.  Then the space bar will work to continue the game.
