  • There is certainly a lot to explore here, and many encounters to be found. That said, it seems some notes might be left off explaining a few things. I see notes Y and Z are referenced, but lack their own note section. Not sure if there is more to them than that, but I see arrows near those locations that are not explained elsewhere. I was curious about the coffins and the ice slide area especially. You include something from every expansion, which might be a challenge for a Zargon player setting up, especially with the added wrinkle of referencing rules found in other expansions. As far as challenge, this does live up to the name "Gauntlet!" Heroes fresh out of the main system would find this quest very difficult, especially with the many traps, special encounters, and high level monsters, and only one healing potion mentioned in the notes. It is good of you to include a few items of help like the shield and magic ring. The mechanic of the necromancer waking the dragon is quite inventive. I do like that a monster "off screen" can cause trouble for the heroes.
  • Such a lot of great things going on in this quest - it truly is a gauntlet of epic proportions to get to the Necromancer! The touches such as the stone boulder and the unique effect of the Necromancers death and following mechanics are really well thought out. Great quest and the best of luck!
