Clever game! I included it in my Godot Community Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Really cool puzzle mechanics, just got a "soft lock" on one of the last water parts were water melted and the character got stuck in a corner.

Great idea, and nice implementation! The temperature display effect is well done and properly conveys the mechanics, especially heat transfer by forced convection :)

The grabbing mechanism wasn't always easy to manage, especially when having to grab two blocks at once to go over ice, and that in the right order (ice first, or on the side). I ended up blocked in the middle of the water or sometimes in a wall too and has to restart. Yet I did finish the level and enjoyed the design, I wouldn't mind playing an extended version with some more polish on the mechanics and more levels :)

Cool idea! Grabbing controls could use some tweaking, even something simple as remapping the key would help I thinkg.

There were a number of times I got stranded from a block and had to reset (carrying both blocks across ice is hard), but I made it to the end.

The visual temperature effect is great and perfect for these puzzles.

The grabbing controls didn't work like I expected--but it might be a bug in Godot itself. On Linux (Cinnamon), I have a setting turned on "Both Shift together enable Caps Lock; one Shift key disables it". Tapping Shift started "sticky-character-mode", then I had to press both to release. When I turned that setting off, the game worked as advertised. Weird.

I accidentally solved the first fan puzzle.

The last puzzle was tricky but satisfying. Nice job.

Yes I agree that moving both blocks across the ice is hard. Originally I was going to make it so that the puzzle reset if that happened but I didn't want to move the player all the way back to the start. (That and I was low on time.) A checkpoint system would probably have been nice here.

Sorry you had trouble with the grabbing, I'm not sure how to fix that either since the grab isn't a toggle but a continuous check per frame.

If you mean the very first fan puzzle where you push the heater into fan and it melts the ice, I intended players to solve it accidentally to show off the mechanics and teach the player about fans, barriers and ice walls.

I agree there is definitely room for improvement. I originally planned to have a whole array of entities for the player to use but I ended up running out of time.

Thank you for playing!

I totally love the concept! Took me some time to complete, it was pretty challenging. Nice job!
