I really enjoyed the music and mood however the pixelated 3d graphics were giving me a bit of a headache. I enjoyed fetching the resources around though I ran into a few rocks I couldn't trigger the pickup icon for because I am guessing they were buried too deep?

Eerie music fitting the whole premise. I helped the tower grow and in the end the tower killed me :D

That was really cool. The music created a very good sense of malevolence, and the low res quality really paid off when the tower was fully upgraded. It left a lot to the imagination, but still showed off the complexity of the tower itself. I chose the third ending, but now wonder what would have happened if I had submitted to the tower's oppressive will. Well done!

really enjoyed this! i keep being pleasantly surprised by how many unique concepts there have been for this theme, great work all around. the music really helped tie everything together, but the pixelated effect was a bit much at times, especially for items that were farther away. also not sure if this was intentional, but the camera got really wonky if you chose the third ending and had to gather more materials. either way, really solid game. well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind words! The camera wonkiness was not intentional. It happened to me a couple times in testing but I couldn't figure out exactly how to reproduce it. Thanks again!

Ominous! I think if the world got darker and more twisted as you gathered materials it would really tie together the idea that the tower was an evil entity. Maybe the player initially didn't think much about what they were doing, not enough to resist the tower's commands, but as the world around changes for the worst, that is when they realizes they have to make that final choice.

Some critiques: I didn't like the pixelation effect that much, I think it is too harsh. In moderation, it can make a 3D game like this look very charming, but in this case it made it very difficult to see distant things, especially the tower, which is the main thing I wanted to see in detail. The gathering is also repetitive. Perhaps if each time a new material was requested, or, again, the world visibly changed, that wouldn't be the case.

Overall though, you did a great job, congrats!

Thanks for the feedback! Initially, I was planning on introducing other types of materials as time went on. Like some sort of magical earth essence or something, but I just never got there. Making the environment more gloomy and visibly effected by the tower would have been great! Thanks again!

While the gathering was a little tedious, I absolutely love the look and the ominous vibes!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!  Something that I wanted to add was a 'difficulty' setting that would affect the gathering amounts and maybe even the timers. That just didn't make it in. Thanks again!

Very tower related :)  I like the foreboding atmosphere! Would have been curious to see the other endings, but was tired of gathering

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! Adding a setting to adjust the gathering amounts and/or time limits might have been a good call. Thanks again!
