Very fun little game, make me scream 5+ times. Those fish are fast as hell.
I love the title its very pretty, nice touch having it in the initial loading screen! The graphics are amazing. I was stuck at first trying to figure out how to get out of the water, and couldn’t really see where I was going for some parts. I think increasing contrast for the blue fist would be helpful. I would have liked to get upgrades on swim speed or inventory space for the second day to make it less repetitive. I love the little ducklings, and the concept of getting food back for the ducklings. The art and sound helped create a pleasant ambience for the game. Overall, great work!
It was unclear what to do, what I was able to figure it out, so pretty intuitive. However things lagged much like other people experienced. I picked up the wrong fish, and didn't know how to drop them for others though. A tutorial explanation would go far I think. Love the idea overall
Very pretty game! I had fun playing and enjoyed the concept.
Playing in the browser did cause some lag and makes the mouse movement a little difficult. But those are HTML problems and not the games. Nice work!!
Love the concept, unfortunately the game lagged hard when I dive down. Also when I try to dive down a second time the movement doesn't always register correctly. The music is great and from what I saw the gameplay was as well.
I love the idea of this but unfortunately the performance when I dove was poor and made things hard to do. I did love the juxtaposition between the surface and underwater areas and hope that things can be optimized a bit so that I can experience it as intended.
incredible ambition for a game jam.
Didn't work well for me, I would've loved a downloadable. The navigator (chrome) didn't catch my mouse properly so it was hard to look around.
I don't really like screamers and horror stuff so it's not really a game for me. But it's awesome ! I love underwater stuff, subnautica is my fav game, and you managed to catch some of its magic there with very achievable effects. Great job.
Very cool game! Very cool concept. Particularly love the green evil fish, he is terrifying.
Really original game! Do not misjudge the calm on the surface... (no spoilers lol)
Amazing art (not sure if this classifies as 2.5D), and perfectly fits the subtheme of "changing perspectives". The music (when not in crisis mode) is calm and zen, but switches to fit the "mood" when required.
Perhaps it's a web-based issue, but the things you need to watch out for (food or otherwise) is not very visible underwater. Definitely one of those games where downloads will be encouraged.
0/10 would not be a duck mom again. Ain't easy these days to keep mouths fed, literally have to put your life on the line every day.
Hey busride! Thank you so much for your comment! We played your game in our discord! It was sooo great!
Love the music. It fit's the cool vibe. The ducklings are very cute. I can tell you did so much work on the game art/music. Well done!!
