Would love to see a full version of this game. Thoroughly enjoyed the concept and your implementation. Well done, superb game!
The art and music are great, as is the concept. However, the unchangeable controls and the learning difficulty made the experience a bit steep. It was a nice surprise, however, and seeing a concept I saw not too long ago in the r/Godot subreddit put into work was super nice. I especially loved the little victory flame.
The way the game notifies you of you trying to change the color while in a place where a platform would be is quite nicely done.
Lots of potential here! For me the color swapping hurt my head, not nearly as bad as some of the other games but it did make my play time shorter than I wanted it to be. Other than that everything else was wonderful!
This game is awesome! great 1 bit style. loving the splash of color <3 jumping left with Q to invert is near impossible for me though.
Nice game. I really enjoyed it
was fun to play, nice charming little game
Thanks for that!
Blue light! Blue light!
Really good and polished experience. The levels had a good amount of challenge and were very well designed, I loved the visuals, music and sound effects (I also used the Sweet Sounds asset pack on my game) and I played through all of it. I also loved that our little candle guy gets smaller throughout the game, it was a good touch :)
Thanks so much!
The title of your game really intrigued me. Where are you from?
I'm from the US - initially the game was just called Luz because I liked the way it sounded, then I changed it to Luz Azul because it's a palindrome and I thought it worked with the mirrored-reality theme. And worked for the black white and blue color palette!
I have to admit the name is very stylish and fitting. I didn't even notice it was a palindrome. I also really loved the cover art, you did a fantastic job with presentation.
"Luz Azul" means blue light in portuguese and spanish (and probably other latin adjacent languages), that is why I asked where you were from
Yup I do speak some spanish so that was why I had the idea!
Reminds me of Shift. Although with the TV style shader it isn't as harsh on the eyes! Was fun to play it and I made it all the way through!
Awesome! Appreciate you playing!
VERY cool concept and great art overall
Thanks very much for playing!
Nice take on shifting the light and dark platforms, really unique and challenging. Cheers!
Thanks a lot!
This was really fun to play! The character choice is creative too - playing as a candle searching for your light
Appreciate you playing!
