Really cute idea.  Having a popups for controls, like the possession/un-possession and getting through doors would have have been helpful.  I think it would have been nice to have the dossier pop up for whoever will o' wisp was facing so you didn't have to possess everybody for the initial intel gathering (and had more contrast to be easier to read).  Also the doors took a few clicks to get through.
The writing was really fun, swamp is pretty spicy!  The music choice was great too, good work!

I think if controls are flythrough in the beginning maybe the moving player should have been just left out or taken out. Which at one point it does disappear when you possess someone I think? I guess you figured you should convey the difference somehow, so I guess I'm not sure. Maybe the player didn't look clearly enough like a will o' the wisp might be what it is? After a while playing though, for some reason I didn't seem to mind it as much anymore.

However this whole thing looked pretty ambitious. Aside from these minor sorts of details like the above, I actually found this kind of fun overall! I liked being able to control so many different things, even a cat - and that who you were possessing before you talked to someone seemed to even matter in the game for the matchmaking -  really nice job on this!

Really struggling with the controls on this one. I just about managed to fly up and down and get near characters, but then what? How can I talk to them?

Developer

You can take control of characters by holding right click and clicking left click. If you ever need a reminder all the controls can be found in the instructions on the main menu

You have to click both mouse buttons at the same time? That is where I'm having issues, I'm on a Mac and it's not possible with trackpad or Magic Mouse

Developer(+1)

Ah interesting. I'm sorry I've never use a Mac. If you are interested I have an update lined up for after voting ends. I can add button remapping in that update and let you know when I release it

Developer

I do also believe that on Apple you're able to enable right click (they call it secondary click) in the system settings and that should still work on the magic mouse

very cute idea for a mixed dating sim kinda game!

Amazing work!

I have never been one to enjoy a dating sim or match making game, but this suprised me!

The dialogue was great, the writing had be laughing out loud a few times and found myself  invested in getting everyone their match! haha

I finished with 85% happiness.

Amazing job!

Hello People! If you are having trouble with the door you need to Left Click on it to be able to move into the other room. Sorry for the confusion!

"Hey, it's me, Dracula."

This is a cool idea and you pulled it off pretty well! I really enjoyed reading all of the interests of the characters. That's cool that nobody is mean to Daniel about being a werewolf. Seems like a nice place to live.

My happiness score was 45% in the end. I'll take it!

Great job!

Edit: oops, I usually try to point out things that I had trouble with and forgot! I couldn't walk through the door with some characters, are they meant to be stuck in the rooms? That's all I really have to say about this game. Being able to control them all was cool.

Developer

Sorry, I should've included that the Door you need to go through by interacting with it (Left Click)

I was really looking forward to trying this out, as the screenshots and idea seem so good, but the .pck file is missing :(. Quick tip, when you export to windows, you can click the "embed pck" option so it doesn't need the pck file. Unfortunately I can't rate the game, but I hope you have better luck next time!

Developer

Thank you so much for letting me know. I've contacted Jam organizers and am hoping to update the download link to include the PCK. I'll let you know when/if I get this fixed so that you can play!

Submitted

Haha yes! Can't wait

Developer

Just updated! The new windows file has the Embedded PCK. I hope you like it

Just played it, was awesome :). Although as the other comment said, it is kinda annoying how the monsters are locked to each room, so you don't have too much choice with who to match. Still, pretty cool!

Developer

So sorry, You have to open the door by left clicking

Submitted(+1)

Oh haha, might wanna put this under the description of the game just in case someone else gets a lil confused as well. I do hope more people check out the game tho!

Developer

Yep! I've added it to the description and I posted a comment on here
