"Ubasute" is the practice of sending your elderly mother to the top of a mountain to die. Stories of "Ubasute" have been passed down for centuries, and is a famous staple in Japanese folklore.

I thought it was a very compelling story and experience, very nice job on this one!
Well, I wandered into all the places between trees I could after going in circles for 7 or 8 times. I couldn’t find where to get a different result, so… /shrug
Unfortunally it don't load :(
sweet little story. got a bug where i pressed e a few times on the grass while talking to the mom and the game entered an infinite dialogue loop that wouldn't stop, had to restart the whole thing.
really sweet nonetheless, good job :)

Hey thanks I tried it, love the look of it, adding some sound would help, but after going in circles a good 6/7 times and trying to go around the trees I kinda gave up, what did I miss?
The game is stuck on the main menu for me. Is this a known issue?

I like the concept. The collisions weren't always as I expected, but I enjoyed walking between the trees. Wish there was more dialog if you keep going in circles
