Nice intro scene, really effective at setting the mood! Wish it was skippable, though – at least on repeated tries. Rewatching it after each failed attempt gets a bit grating. Speaking of which: I couldn't quite figure out what to do in order to escape! There's that locked door and if I take a certain path the monster will bump into it once, but if I then went there afterwards again, the voice just said "I'm working on it" – but... working on what? Left me quite clueless of what to do next, and then "that thing" got me and I had to start over again. If there's any more strategy to this, then I didn't get it, sorry. :(
Amazing feedback! After some play-testing I realized I didn't communicate with the player enough. T^T I'll make cutscenes skippable in my future jams too, you have a great point, I'm thankful you mentioned it.
The monster moves on a set path, if you stand by the door for 50 seconds he clears the debris. I also realized 50 seconds is probably too long, especially when players don't understand what's going on. A timer or more audio lines would help with game communication. Thank you for playing and I hope to make my games more clear in the future! :D
Cool idea but I think it was lagging like hell in my browser as the blue dot was very unresponsive. Didn’t have time to download and test on the PC. I like the atmosphere of the game and good job on the voice acting.
Awh man. I'm sorry to hear. :( I was worried a game like this would be a little laggy on browser. I'll try to test my game on different devices next time. Thank you for playing! Hopefully I can fix it in the future.
Nice idea. Short to the point and fit the theme. Escaped on 3rd attempt once i figured how the monster behaved. Audio was nice, gave spacial presence to the on-screen positions, a little quiet tho. Subtitles would have been welcomed.
Very nice idea. I really liked the atmosphere of the game.
Loved the aesthetics and the detail when the monster gets to the 'guy' near the computer room, the door bangs . Felt like working as on operator in lethal company or something. A bit hard for me to figure out how the monster behaved or how long until the "work" is done.
