Think Inside The Box

Game Description
In this stressful adventure, you embody Schrödy, Schrödinger's famous feline, trapped within the confines of a mysterious box. As Schrödinger faces the most dreadful moment in any scientist's career - peer review - your mission is to defy their attempts at observation and maintain your paradoxical state of being, neither fully dead nor alive. Use your agility and cunning to evade the watchful eyes of your scientific captors, who seek to collapse your quantum waveform and determine your fate once and for all. Why would you want to mess with Schröndiger's experiment? Let's not forget that 2 days ago he had the audacity of oversleeping, delaying your breakfast for 5 whole minutes! FIVE. MINUTES. Payback will be swift. Payback will be just. Try your best to steer clear of scientific gazes. If you are proven to be dead or alive, you will forfeit your quantum essence and dissipate.

How does your game tie into the theme?
In the game you escape the gaze of schrodinger's eyes for as long as possible as to maintain your quantum uncertainty

This was an interesting concept. It was a little unclear to me how much to two meters influenced each other, if at all, which would cool if it did/nice if it was more clear.

I enjoyed the cat meow and animations.

Nice job!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

So the meter works like this:
When you get seen by a "red eye" the indicator for "dead" rises. The same happens but on the opposite end for the green eyes - the alive indicator gets closer to the edge. If at any point one of the indicators reaches the edge you lose

We didn't really have much time for a decent tutorial, it's something  we could definitely improve!

Woah, this one caught my eye. The way you interpreted the theme and incorporated it with quantum physics is impressive. Good job!

Cut and fun. I look forward to playing this on an actual quantum computer!

Developer (1 edit)

we couldn't get our hands on one to test so schrody's quantum fluctuations might not work as intended

Thanks for playing :)
