Wacky audio & I love the chicken. Could use some more polish & variation in gameplay.
Geat job and fun concept ! It would be nice if you could somehow clean the broken eggs off the ground, to clean up your screen, and maybe add an upgrade or something, where someone cleans it up for you for example. You can definitely expand on the idea with some upgrades for your chicken (maybe just aesthetics to keep em comfortable visually, but could affect their spawn rates or something).
I also think that with the number of eggs spawning eventually, you need an upgrade for bigger carry capacity or at least a barrel that can catch some dropping and you have to bring to your barrel and place back down (just another idea x))
The gameloop is definitely fun and you just want to take care of your chickens haha !

The game is fun at the start but after two chickens it's gets a bit too repetitive
The controls feel a bit slippery, but I liked the concept of it and i think couldve been way better if you had more time. The chicken animation has a charm to it
Continue to improve it so as to vary the player's gameplay a bit. In my opinion, the controls can be improved because I found it very uncomfortable to jump and press E on the keyboard. The chickens are fantastic
It's a lot of fun to play and with good sound design. I think the player needs more upgrades
Shame there's no end to the game, I liked the controls and the general feel of the gameplay, it felt super smooth to grab three eggs while dashing through the platforms

Cool little game nicely fitting to current theme. Audio was a bit glitchy for some reason, not sure if it was my pc, Godot or project at fault. It would be nice to have something to avoid repetitiveness at beginning when it is easy to manage everything with right upgrades. Nice project.

An interesting take on the theme. At the beginning I was just a bit confused what I should do. I thought I had to catch the falling eggs. The pacing is also feeling a bit slow. From 2 to 100 eggs there wasn't really anything interesting happening. I could upgrade fast enough to easily run around the chickens and collect the eggs without problems.
But overall a fun little game. Good Job!
yeah, it's easy to get confused I agree with you. But I don't think it's necessary to guide or make it clear about all the aspects. Not sure if it's my laziness or design decision though 😁

Collected more than 300 eggs and a giant chicken appeared at the top left corner of the screen. I think this is the real ending :D
I really like the upgrades you can buy but I think there were too few. At some point, it's just impossible to not lose any eggs, and I tried different combinations.
Anyway, it's a good start, and the gameplay is pretty captivating. The graphics are a bit weird, combining different assets with different styles, but it serves the idea well.

I drew the chicken myself and I'm supper proud with the result ;) but you are right, assets are not consistent at all
And it's definitely requires proper progression and game design :( as you said to less upgrades because I just randomly picked the numbers of the eggs when new upgrades appear

Haha I collected over 50 eggs before I read your description that there's not an end for it yet. There was something strangely mesmerizing about the game loop! I was in a trance when the music started looping almost exactly each trip I made back to the barrel.
Nice fluid controls and physics, nice graphics. Solid prototype/demo! Maybe there's something more here because it was fun even without a win condition. Nice work
