Definitely one of the best games in this jam!
Fun and engaging throughout, although a bit frustrating at times.
For the last puzzle, I went into 2-player mode ;] because it was too much for me to handle.
Great entry, congratulations!
I never thought of playing it with another player but this is definitely a fun way to play it !
After touching a total past 100 games, I can confidently say that this is my pick for Top Prize. While not an artistic masterpiece, this game still rings the most in my memory as the most painful experience that I successfully endured. In a way, this game had a little luck on its side because as I played more and more games, the novelty of the concept was quickly wearing off.
You've done very well. Perhaps this style of game is something you should revisit and refine.
Thank you so much ! I don't know if this concept will be good in a longer game. It's a bit exhausting to play. But maybe with some changes, there is something to do.
Fun challenge, kept me entertained for a while working out what I was supposed to do, enjoyed it.
It's a nice game. I like the level design. Good job!
Gets intense really fast! However the game flow is great, gets you introduced in the mechanics one by one. The mechanics are really fun and the overload theme is achieved. A fun well executed game, well done!
This is a really interesting concept, with awesome audio and cute visuals. Juggling between the mouse interface and the game was a bit unintuitive for me, maybe it could combine the numpad for numbers and colors, etc? Not sure how that would work the images puzzle though. I gave up during the (SPOILER) fire levels after trying a couple of times.
There was a bit of a lack of feedback some times - he images green / red colors could be a lot more discernible, and it wasn't clear if floor buttons were actually pressed.
Very nice entry!
Yes, I agree with you on the lack of feedback. This is something I will keep in mind for futur jams.
I thought about controlling the interface with keyboard but I found that more difficult than with the mouse. Maybe it depends on people, I should have proposed the two options.
Thank you a lot for the feeback !
Love the theme music! Really charming graphics and sounds. I wasn't sure I'd like the multi-tasking at first, but it turned out to be really fun after I gave it a try. Adding more mechanics as you progress was a nice touch. I think there could have been a little more feedback to the player with the energy bar, especially with the 60% button mechanic. The energy bar sliding up and down made it not immediately apparent if I was having an effect on it or not, so it felt a little bit delayed.
I played for a good while, and I think I was getting close to the end on one of the final checkpoints, but it got a little too overwhelming and I gave up before I beat it. But I appreciate how many levels you designed to make this feel like a full length experience!
Really nice execution on the theme, and love the cohesive aesthetic of the art & sound design. Great job!
Yes I totally agree with you on the button mechanic. It clearly lacks of a visual feedback.
Thank you very much for the feeback !
oh boy this game gets EVIL fast!, but i did enjoy it, through the later parts are so absurd i was unable to beat it but still i get the gist, pretty good game, would make for a good rage game back many years ago (this is a compliment) :D
Ahah thank you ! I like challenging games so I tried to put some difficult levels at the end, but the difficulty curve is too abrupt. I should have add some more levels to smooth this.
Very simple nice game. The only thing, when I reach the button it takes time to be pressed for some reason
You need to have the energy bar of the corresponding color to at least 60%. There is a text tutorial for this at one checkpoint. But I understand that if you missed it, there is no visual feedback to this. This could be better indeed, thanks for the feeback !
Great game to overload your brain! Amazing execution with simple-to-understand mechanics. But the challenge keeps increasing as we pass checkpoints.
great multitask game, make me busy and fun
It was really overwhelming but fun ! I loved it
The little robot was so cute! I was very bad at this game, but I'm terrible at multitasking. Everything was introduced and explained well. I wish that the icon placement backgrounds stood out more. I failed so many times because I didn't notice they needed to be moved. Overall, good job!
Yes, the visual indicator is not visible enough. thanks for the feeback !
Wow, I absolutely adored this game.
The mechanics were all super fun to use and trying to handle everything proved to be such a challenge.
I definitely felt "overload"'d
Awesome work!!
Thank you so much !
This game is a brain melter, and my brain is now mush.
The game uses progression to introduce new mechanics to get you used to the multitasking rules. The checkpoints are an essential component to the game, or I would have probably turned it off as soon as I had a failure, deep into the playthrough. Instead, I powered through the AGONY of the final level.
My strat eventually turned into me deliberately taking a hit to make it to the last button. Given what I could see about the map, there was simply no way to get to the red button, but I didn't need that stupid button anyway.
This is a strong contender, and I'll give you full marks for fun. Now, I should probably go lie down, my head hurts.
There is a way to get it but from what i have seen, everyone is going for the "take a hit" strategy. This level is badly designed.
Sorry for you head and thank you very much !
This game literally overloaded me with stress, but what a fun experience!
Very fun. fits the theme very well and the art is good
