Game Description
It's a game about managing your energy

How does your game tie into the theme?
You have a health bar, and an energy bar for attacks. While you can take direct health damage, it's much more harmful to have an energy overflow.

This is a twin stick shooter. Take the power offered by your blue friends (without maxing out), and dish it out against EVERYONE.

The way the enemies move around is rather interesting, and a big step up from basic NavigationAgent usage.

The presentation could use a little work, but it gets the job done here.

When I couldn't figure out what to do, I looked for the game page to see what you guys put down. Webapps can get away with this, but I generally recommend having even a low effort how-to-play page viewable in game when we're using desktop exports.

A strong entry for a newcomer, and you'll grow as you continue to jam.

It definitely has potential, but need some rebalance. Charging routine is TOO WAY LONG. It's not very funny to play the game where 80% of time you need to charge your gun and dodge bullets. Shooting is not feeling responsive. After laser beam is casted it's reamain its initial position, but the enemies are way too speedy, so it's too hard to shot em...

Simple graphics is cool way to make the enemies distinguishable and to stand out

Overall, I see it could be cool game with fun gameplay, but for now it needs some balance and tweaking! Thank you for your submission! :3

Thanks for the feedback! I totally agree with the charging times being too slow and the enemy movement not playing well with the design of the beam. I'm really glad the sprite designs served their purpose. :)

I really love the crisp geometric abstract art you have going for the characters! Also, the sound effects were pretty silly. Always a fan of the most reliable instrument (our mouths). Gameplay was nifty too!

I think if I could provide quick feedback, I'd probably suggest focusing on one art style when it comes to how you express your game both via visuals and audio. Like if you go with these cool abstract characters, it may clash with your mouth effects. Same for your background, the garden grass kind of seems like a more warm cozy aesthetic versus the silliness you have in your sounds, and sci-fi-y-ness you got going on with your characters.

Regardless, had fun! If you keep working on this, keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it. I definitely had a more cohesive vision in my head, but I think I tried to do too much with the time given, specially since it's my first finished game.
