After getting cursed, you lost your memories and death rapidly approaches... but there might be a potion that can cure you.

How does your game tie into the theme?
It fits mainly on the story and gameplay: you gotta remember recipes to different potions, and in the end, create a forgotten potion that can reverse the curse.

Fun potion brewing game! I liked that the alchemist’s notes were effectively the tutorial, teaching you how to brew. The sound and visual effects both added a lot of pop (literally, sometimes) to the game, and the flavor text on some of the potions were funny too.

The fill meter was fun to watch change colors as you added ingredients - I don’t think the glow effect was overdone, honestly. Holding down the mouse worked fine for filling the cauldron, but my instinct was always to click and drag rather than just clicking. Maybe a little free motion on the bottles (similar to the ladle) would have made it feel a little more satisfying.

Once I realized that you could just try to make stuff and get hints, it was pretty easy to get to the end of the game. It might have been fun to have slightly more cryptic hints, rather than just telling the player directly which ingredients were needed more or less.

Overall, very nice work. Fun and well-polished, congratulations!

That game was really cool. I played many alchemy games on phone and that one got me! Was fun to play around with the potions and getting to the final one. The visuals are really great and also the visual effects are well done. I had no control or accessibility issues and everything went smooth. Great job on this!

I just about jumped out of my skin when the potion success sound effect went off the first time!

A fun game, love searching for different ratios, and especially love the ending.

Great feel overall, well polished both visually and mechanically. Nothing felt buggy, the game worked as you would expect. The visuals were well done and came together well. I like that it was a fairly short experience, the feedback from wrong ratios was really well done!

Nice cozy game (which kind of doesn't really fit the apparent urgency in the story, but that's not too bad). Thought I did something wrong the first time the cauldron exploded, but that was just what it does when you do something correctly. The audio fit very well. Good accessibility and settings. Would have been more fun if there was less guessing involved. I think that it would have been more interesting to get some clues after the first 3 potions about what needs to go in the next potions (and not just calculating the full percentage). The hints do help reduce the guesswork involved. The ending was surprising and funny though.

Can't really think of anything to criticize really. Like the use of notes as means of an immersive tutorial.

This game was SUPER fun! I felt like a real alchemist, using trial and error to do SCIENCE.

I was able to beat it in about a half hour, but each minute spent was pure joy.

One of the most fun submissions I've played so far. The game is super accessible, with a nicely formatted description on the game page and a clear introduction to the puzzle's rules (not the mention the options menus which also contain the option to change to a clearer font!). 

 The glowing potions and the liquid shaders were a lovely touch to the already beautiful artwork. The audio felt average, perhaps it would go great with some lo-fi music?

 Interesting idea on the audio. Truth be told, I had absolutely no idea on what kind of music would fit the game. I tried something medieval-like, with a hapsichord as the only instrument, but it didn't sound good ingame. A lo-fi like track might've worked, however... thanks for playing and for the suggestion! I'll consider adding something like that in the future (if I'm able to make a nice track, that is). I'm glad you enjoyed it!
