Game Description
Guide a cat through a dark lab to deliver canisters containing the research and memories of the scientists.

How does your game tie into the theme?
All of the world's remaining knowledge has been stuffed into canisters that will be forgotten if the player doesn't deliver them to the surface. In addition, the player (a cat), doesn't remember that it was once a human scientist.

This was fun! For some reason some of the text didn’t show up in Firefox so I had to switch to Chromium but it worked fine once I did.

I really liked the sound effects, it was very satisfying to pick up canisters and deliver them to their spots. The background sound was also pretty spooky and really added to the atmosphere of the game, as did the visual presentation with low light.

I think I may have missed some of the story beats, since I only saw the first and last bits - was there more that should have triggered during the middle of the playthrough?

Congrats on your first GWJ, nice work on this game!

Thank you for your feedback :D

I love it! The atmosphere is quite good, the use of sprites and sounds was quite cool. The way the story is presented in little chunks between rounds is a clever idea. Lots of good stuff all around.

That said, the difficulty is pretty brutal. The combination of the zombies wandering around in narrow hallways where they can't really be avoided and the constant pressure of running out of oxygen made progressing extremely challenging. More so because the zombies are very difficult to see in the dark and seem to teleport or spawn/despawn so I can never be sure where they are.

None of that detracted much from the overall experience though, and it was quite fun. A really well made game given the time constraints! Also nice use of the GWJ color scheme in the UI! :D

Thank you for the feedback!! I'll definitely improve balancing in my future projects! I'm so happy you enjoyed it :)

The zombies can be killed with the laser things though :D just noticed
(I don't know if they respawn afterwards)
I still die a lot because of the lack of oxygen though xD

Wow my heart rate skyrocketed in this one lol! This is was so creepy, I loved it! Maybe a teenie bit too hard imo, but not so much :D
The art and the sound/music are really fitting the eerie atmosphere. The story itself is very dark too.
One of the best entries for me!

That’s a nice entry! I liked the dark and mysterious atmosphere created by the music and light effects. The cat was adorable and I really wanted it to survive until the end.

Fun and cute. I really appreciate the simple art style and sprites and the sound effects were cute. The enemies were creepy in a good way. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing your future jam games!

What a fun game! Managed to get myself stuck a couple of times because I’m bad at games, but still!

Well done!

Thank you!

Super cute, good work!

Fun game! It was almost more like a memorization game for me because the creatures lurking in the halls killed me so many times that I knew where all the canisters and portals were by heart before beating it.

Developer

Thank you! I was actually trying to go for a bit of memorization, kind of like an old school RE game where once you have it down pat you can DOMINATE.

Super cute game, and very impressive for a first time entry! I loved the cat art, and the little meow sound when you got hurt. Great job!

Developer

Thank you! I was sweating bullets right before posting lol
