How does your game tie into the theme?
I made the letters little monsters, spooky!

Fun idea! I included it in my compilation video series for the Godot Wild Jam #56, if you’d like to check it out. :)
Really cool concept, it took me a few tries to figure out exactly what it was doing, but it is unique. I like the sound effects and minimalist style.
I thought the idea was pretty original. Slightly confused on what the numbers next to the letters mean tho.
I wish there was a category for impressiveness, ambitiousness, or innovation. Asynch multiplayer in a game jam is quite a feat! Well done.
Hmm so is this basically playing with words submitted by other players? That's pretty cool! You probably want to balance it up a bit though because I wonder if the words might veer towards too easy and too hard.
Very cool concept though and kudos for utilizing extra tech!
Yep it uses SilentWolf to save words & get other players words to battle,
the random 3 letter word in the menu is the player_name (which you can refresh with the button above) , and there's only 1 battle word per player_name, so latest save for that random player_name
A fun idea, and I thought the piece movement and sounds had a satisfying weight to them. I think it would be nice to have more visibility into where the opposition is coming from or when they sent them. It hard to tell the difference between this and a random word generated by the computer. Overall though solid work!
This game was a trip! What a super original concept. I suck at these types of spelling games, but it was fun to try to beat! Love the icons, and the unified style you've applied.
Keep making games!
