Game Description
Robot Dreams is a game where you dream that you are a robot and you have to wake up! Each level acts as a dream within a dream, until finally you are able to wake up, but which ending will you wake up to?
How does your game tie into the theme?
The story shows you falling asleep, and then having to traverse several dreams-within-dreams to wake up. You can either wake up by getting a "kick" like they do in Inception, or by doing something clever with the phone, as in The Matrix.

It's insane that you use rust for the **thing**. It makes me so happy to see people using this language x)
Otherwise the game is cool! dreamception
Maybe using another key than CTRL could have been more accessible I think (this is only a personal opinion actually)
I love Rust! The server was hard to make lol. I will get into the habit of having map-able keys!
You nailed the theme! A short but entertaining submission with straight forward tutorial which is smoothly embedded in the first level.
Minor observation: The run sound plays a bit late. If you just do one step, it plays when the robot is already standing again. Maybe there is a bit of silence in front of the sample?
Nice game :)
Will tweak some of the audio stuff for sure! Thanks for playing!
Really like the pixel art. I have to admit I couldn't figure out how use the apple bombs for so long even though the controls were presented. Fun little platformer but couldn't figure out the other ending.
Fun game! I thought it looked well done and was easy to play. Good work!
Falling to get to the next level is an interesting concept. Animations are well done. Good job overall!
interesting concept, I like how you add hints inside the game how to control and what to do. I had no problem getting to the first ending.
Missing accessibility features, but overall cool game. Good job!
Didn't want to spend money on an international call to North America, but the fact that you added a secret ending related to that is crazy! Also, I really liked the graphics.
Yeah, and then the call would do the password detection in English and such too, a bit restrictive but maybe I can come up with clever solutions sometime?
Interesting game! Grabbing the classic platformer genre and mixing it with inception is a very creative idea! Great work!
Loved the animation, art style and gameplay. I didn't like the controls tho. Couldn't get the second ending. Hope the poor guy wakes up. Its a nice game
I typed "oregano" and pressed Enter and nothing happend  then I realized it had to ping somewhere in the internet for something. I had fun with the apples. Keep up the good work :)
Jumping animation is great )
Cool concept, fun little game! I would have liked to have had arrow keys to use as well as WASD - would have been less hand-strain to be able to use two hands. I think a nice, subtle background music would really have brought the gameplay forward as well, even if it was something premade on the internet. But, all-in-all, the game was really good and interesting! And I have to say I really did appreciate the content warning - others might be upset about it, but it made absolute sense and is very forward-thinking.
sfx are very good and i like the idea of falling to wake up
This is awesome! And that telephone is super cool and creative :o
Really cool platformer
Pixel art and audio are nice. Couldn't figure out the second ending. Should I call that number IRL? :) Thanks for sharing!
yeah! though totally cool to not do that if there are privacy concerns - full disclosure, the call would get passed through Twilio and Deepgram
Super fun game! Maybe I'm unable to pronounce oregano
it understands on-and-off, I should add some keyword boosts for the passwords, or audio search or other fancy stuff, but it usually works either right away, or after several, several tries (definitely had some sessions of just repeating words in the phone XD) thanks for trying it out!!!
Fun game with good graphics and controls. Didn't get the phone part to work though...
it's been about 50-50, I'll work on boosting the AI understanding XD thanks for trying!!
Very fun take on the theme. I love the dialog, it added a lot of character!
