This was a very nice game, congrats ! I completed it.

I liked the music and overall tone a lot.

Unfortunately gameplay mechanics were a flop for me. Combining hints is a great idea but I found it way too hard to find anything. I'm really bad at deduction games though, so it may just be me.

Then I activated the cheats, and it broke the game, with a lot of combination found in the wrong order.

It's too bad because I can tell the writing was good, so I enjoyed the start (when I played without cheats) more than the rest.

I think it would have benefited from a better hint system. Still it's very impressive what you've done in a week !

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you got to enjoy it.

I can't agree enough that the mechanics did end up being very unsatisfying, which is unfortunate. But in a Jam you live in you learn :)

I have since been able to observe playtests since releasing the game doing 1-on-1 moderation and I've discovered that combinations that make sense don't go anywhere and combinations that are tenuous at best reveal crucial information. So it is not just you who struggled.

Thank you for letting us know that cheat mode broke the game D: I will work on getting a patch in ASAP (if the Jam allows it).

Nevertheless, I'm glad you enjoyed what you were able to, and thank you so much for the valuable feedback!

Even for such a large team this is quite impressively done for one week. Quite a high level of detail involved in the art, interactivity, sound, and writing.

Cluedo meets Godot Wild Jam! This is very nicely done guys, visually looks great and you definitely hit the theme. If anything I probably found there was too much text to read before I was fully engaged in the story, having said that it's impressive what a complex storyline you've been able to come up with and implement in a single week. I did have to use the cheat mode, and knowledge of your speedrun video (great idea btw) to get me to the end. :)

Thanks for the kind words, it was a blat to work on as well.

I fully agree about reading text! Our team was blessed with some very talented story tellers and a very inexperienced editor(me!).

Thanks for playing and for your input! :)
