Lovely short platformer. I like that freezing flatform mechanic, visuals look great and music just fits.
It was quite challenging but I managed to finish. Good work!

Visually this is a lovely game, and the music was really getting me into it. I do agree with others that the difficulty is right up there! I did manage the first couple of levels but now I'm completely stuck (I think level 3 or 4). There is a long line of spikes with a moving platform at the beginning, I've tried freezing and jump dashing but can't make it.
This game had serious Celeste vibes, with the hair and the precision jumping, haha!
I like how you start the game with the wall jumping, to teach the player what the character is capable of without much hand-holding. I also like the idea of a countdown timer for these levels, as it brings a great sense of urgency and challenge.
The first level did feel a bit punishing on the timing for me - on my many attempts, I kept missing the door by a few milliseconds. The player's controls also felt a bit sensitive / slippery, so I frequently ran into spikes. Granted, I am terrible at precision platforming games, so you can take this with a grain of salt. Overall, nice work!
I liked the graphics and sound, but couldn't work out how to get through the first door?
Also, i think that first puzzle where you have to jump and mid-air dash is too hard for the first level of a game. I'm still working out the controls and feel at that point, and the game keeps killing me with spikes and making me do the wall jumps again. It didn't feel very welcoming.
If you tell me how to get through the door, I'll come back and play again :)
Edit: Light the orb first. I missed that somehow :P
It's a nice game, but I think it gets too hard too early
I had fun playing it! The controls felt very smooth (I used a controller), I do agree with the walls feeling a bit too sticky though. I like that the first level was pretty simple and showed the mechanics and how to play the game, but I think it could be hard for someone who hasn't played similar games to figure everything out right away. So maybe a few shorter rooms that introduced new mechanics would've been nice. But a very good job, nice submission!
The game starts way too difficult, throwing a lot of challenges that need to be completed very quickly before I even know all the controls and how the game works. Frontloading such frustration is a surefire way to bounce off prospective players.
It gets better once you get used to the controls, and it looks really nice: the main character is done specially well.
Nice one! I liked the mechanics and how they tied to the level design. Challenge was appropriate. One small nitpick would be that walls are a tad too sticky, for example in level 2 I often couldn't get to the door in time because of it.
I'm also part of the platformer in the ruins gang :D
