Haha nice idea. I tried using the rocket jump for everything :D
I at first thought I needed to collect the grapple ring things... But that was also due to me thinking the grappling was broken because I couldn't grapple anything in the beginning.

The idea is fun! I struggled with the controls a bit but eventually got the hang of it!
I think I must be getting old, I struggled with the controls! I'm sure this is the kind of game I enjoyed when I was younger :p
Very nice game! The rocket jumping felt good and I liked how the grapple had infinite range; it let me move unreasonably fast into potentially dangerous areas! The art style is nice too, reminding me of the old Atari 2600 games.
Unfortunatley at one point I respawned in the ground and couldn't escape; but, hey; this is a game jam. Great submision, I just wish it had a little music to ice the cake!
When I played it, there was this one moment where I almost died by falling into spikes, but managed to save myself by quickly shooting a rocket! While the presentation is a bit simple, the gameplay was quite fun!
