Game Description
(more a prorotype than anything else.) A small space game where you controll a spaceship-drone. You are the remote drone pilot and can shoot at weird blobs. As there are many drones it does not matter if it is destroyed, you simply get connected to the next available drone! A bit like a railshooter as you follow predefined flight paths. Assets from kenney.nl, voice generated with polly, coding and everything else by me. UPDATE: Added a way to free the cursor again, sorry for any inconvenience. Press escape to get your cursor back!

Really liked the tuto and the voice! Camera is a bit hard to get used to but it was pretty fun :)
Great concept and nice controls! I love 3D shooters like this.
Ship was very jittery when using 100hz monitor, but worked fine when i turned down to 60hz. I suspect this is an issue with godot engine and not your game though.
Pretty cool game, the Rebel Assault influence clearly shines through, while i had some fun, i just have some small issues, the very small and fast projectile make them hard to dodge, some of the turns are ultra sharp and some obstacles come up way to fast, there is one point if i remember correctly where you have like a pipe to dodge right out of a turn, one other small thing is that its too bad there is no music, especially when you loop through an almost clear path :(
Other than that its good, i had a good time,
funny thing, i didn't read the description before playing so i did not expect any kind of voice, so i jumped the first time i heard the drone startup XD

Great game, but I could not exit the game midfight, I've had to use the task manager.
But it was quite fun.
(The enemies are hard to kill though.)
Sorry! I fixed that now. I am used to close apps with the keyboard instead of the mouse, so I did not think of this.
With a bit more tweaking this could be a really good base for a rail shooter game. I liked the camera work and flight path, but would like for the turns to not be so abrupt.
Thank you so much! Yeah the turns are way too abrupt. The map was generated in the last hours before the deadline. I initially wanted to use a low poly map made in blender with softer turns and some mountains as environment, but it turned out to be too time consuming. I will probably update a few things after the jam ratings are finished :D
I think a few indicators when the flight path can be changed or will be changed would be useful too, so that you are prepared for the turns.
Nicely done! I especially appreciate the quick respawn haha. A way to free the cursor might be a nice addition, but otherwise really cool.
