Very cool art style and level design. I like the parallel worlds that were slightly different. The tank controls were a bit sluggish in my opinion. Overall a great entry for the jam.

Thnx you :)

Nice game, I had fun playing it. I really liked the overall aesthetics, the colours choices are really pleasing and the switch between dimensions is neat. Great work!

Out of curiosity did you design things on a sphere or did you use shaders to deform everything ?

Sidenote, I also encountered visual glitch while playing the web version but the downloable build was perfectly fine.

Developer

Nice to hear, thnx! Shaders dont used, i just made sphere-based system where movement is rotation around center. So i was modeling two spheres as ground (and reused it in some levels), with another separate models for multimesh grass and collision areas.

i love the globe rotating effect. the controls took a bit to get used too, but i think that may have been needed with the world design. i love the concept of shifting between dimensions and having different energies translate and have different effects on the other dimensions. it was a nice surprised later on when i saw there were more than two. seems like there's so much potential to expand on that concept, if you want to!

Developer

Thank you! Yes, dimensions and they rules can be very variative, i was trying some other combinations in another projects earlier.

Wonderful game with 3d maze and parallel worlds

Developer

Nice to hear.

Fun! Interesting to switch back and forth between worlds (and very smoothly). Nice work.

Developer

Thnx.

I was really hopeful to have find a nice 3d game but I got a visual bug (maybe on my computers side).

Developer

Thnx. Looks like hardware problems. You was try web or standalone? What PC and OS?

Cool and interesting game. Feels a bit like a weird N64 game (and I mean that absolutely as a compliment). The art and mood is really great and . The movement could use a little bit of work. I often got stuck at walls - especially in narrow corridors. Other than that I really enjoyed it.

Developer

Thnx you. So i really like old console gaming (not higher PS2 level) - all simple, all fun, many experiments

this game looks waaaay too good for a game jam submission, aesthetically speaking it's an easy 10/10 . unfortunately tho i found the game mechanics a bit difficult to figure out and it gets pretty tedious after a while. especially the movement feels so jaggy. work to fix those and you have yourself a potential winner ;)

Developer

Nice to hear, thnx!

I really liked it. I loved the art. Sometimes I got slightly bored of chasing those pink things, but that wasn't that much of a problem. Level 5 was too difficult for me but that's probably because I'm a horrible gamer. Nice game.

Developer

Nice to hear. The switch to (and from) third dimension can disoriented a little and level 5 feels more hard with this teleportation ankors. but its looks harder than is it

I really liked the art style, i wish I could play it in full screen. The thing I missed was soundtrack, I could listen in my head cellos playing some interleaved dark music while in the immaterial.

Developer(+1)

Thnx, fine. You can play browser version in fullscreen on alternative page https://gotm.io/outsiders/relight (or download standalone for resize game window) I was dont add this option inside build becouse itch have special cheker for fullscreen, but i was off this cheker later cause it instantly drop game context and frustrate.

So i have some handmaded melodies, but probally not suitable for this game (need more more time for experiments with it and mood for switch to audio work) and i was deside do not implement musical themes (no music better than terrible music)

Great 3D game, it could to the Godot reel! Love the Mario Galaxy feel of the worlds and the fact of passing dimensions. Nicely Done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! so i was never playing Mario Galaxy (seeing Odyssey, a little bit)

Submitted(+1)

You should really try it, it could give you some ideas if you keep developing your game (and it deserves!)

Developer

ok, i will keep it in mind :)

Props for doing 3D and thought the camera work was especially good!

Developer

Nice to hear. Some things are easier to make on that sphere-based concept - movement, camera, etc. For make 3d and textures/renders i used Blender.

Fantastic concept! Love the lighting and the sound affects! Very fun!!💕

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks. So i like ideas about shift dimensions gameplay, and this next new reinkarnation of it. I was record some sounds with phone and some made in LMMS.

i can’t open this file because it’s in 7-zip format.

i mean: i can, but there are many other games to play too, so putting them in a harder-to-open format drops any Internet Download down my priority list very much,

which means that i may eventually forget and never play the game.

the other formats like 7-ZIP or RAR or TAR or TAR.GZ or TAR.BZ2 are great for these people who want a smaller download and already have the special program for it,

but you must At Least have ZIP, which is the only one of those types that already works with every system that you don’t need a special program for opening.

Developer

Well, i add .zip variants too. I wonder why .7z still have problems in 2021.

Submitted

Thanks.

7-zip doesn’t really have technical problems in 2021.

All of these alternative formats have the same problem:

While they are better than ZIP, the programs needed to use these formats is almost never pre-installed unlike with ZIP.
