Had a good time with this, though I’ll admit I was hoping for a more puzzle-focused experience rather than the platforming-focused one I got. The levels were well-designed for the most part, though the last level (particularly the second half) was a bit too tedious for my liking; doors the earlier levels would usually be open by the time you naturally got to them, but in the last level you sometimes have to just wait in place for them for 20+ seconds, which isn’t especially engaging. Both halves of the last level also use a structure where, each time you hit a new button, you repeat everything you just did again with an extra step, which gets repetitive quickly. Otherwise, though, I quite enjoyed this! I like how some levels became effectively mazes you had to find the right sequence of button presses to get through. Nice work :)

Nice puzzles, but the platforming felt a bit floaty imo

Worst game I've ever played. 10/10

Developer

Thanks for playing patiently!

Fun platformer, also kind of difficult? The moment where the different colors were introduced i was a bit confused, but soon afterwards i did get it. Nice game!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Sorry that the guidance confused you for a bit—the onboarding definitely needs some polish! But I'm really happy to hear that it all clicked for you eventually. Good to know those subtle cues actually did their job! Hope you have a great time playing!

Very cool interpretation of the idea!

Very fun platformer, I like how the timer was built into the bacgkround! I think if you were to make future levels a slow down/speed up effect would be really cool.

Developer

That's actually the exact idea I wanted to make during the past 4 days! But due to time, I couldn't implement it in 4 days, so I gave up in the end. If I decide to make a full version of the game, I will definitely add this effect! Anyway, thanks so much for playing!

Nice one! Controls were smooth, but it ran a bit strangely on my browser for some reason so I had to stop earlier than I wanted. Good job on the level design as well.
See you at the club?

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! I'm super happy to hear that you enjoyed the level design! Thanks for giving it a shot!

Really neat idea! Interesting how having time reset after pressing the button was integrated into the gameplay. Maybe there’s a bit too much time spent waiting for gates to open (especially when restarting after pressing a button), but otherwise a solid puzzle platformer with potential!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the great feedback! The speed of those gates was actually timed as part of the puzzle mechanics, but I probably went a bit overboard in a few areas. Really appreciate you bringing up such a key detail, and thanks a lot for playing!

mannnn those controls are unforgiving but i beat the 5th level at last wfoqihefh

Developer (2 edits) (+1)

Thanks for playing! Those tight precision jumps are definitely unforgiving, but I made sure every single one was carefully tuned and fair! Congrats again on clearing Level 5!

Uhhh, it is very rare that I like the controls of a game jam platformer. I liked the controls of your platformer. GG for that.

The gameplay was creative, smart and hard enough for me. I was stuck at level... 4? But I didn't tryhard because I want to test more games this evening (almost midnight here...). For your next jam, try to improve the graphics and the narrative !

Fun entry, I will play it again after the rating period! Have a nice evening!

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah, my time management wasn't great near the end, which caused the difficulty to spike pretty steeply right after the first three tutorial levels. That's definitely on me!

Since you mentioned you'll give it another go, here's a friendly pro tip: the time extension bonuses (+10s items) are NOT one-time consumables! They reset every time you respawn, so you can collect them again on every loop. Knowing that, if you re-plan your route a bit, the puzzles should become much easier to solve!

I thoroughly playtested all the levels multiple times, so I can guarantee there are no game-breaking bugs—I just ran out of time to properly tune the difficulty curve. Sorry if it felt overwhelming or confusing!

Anyway, thank you so much for playing my game and giving it a try!

Fun platformer. Not entirely sure if the last level is accessible or if i'm just not good enough

Developer(+1)

The last level is actually beatable, I promise! My time management completely fell apart at the end, so the difficulty tuning is definitely off. I just cleared it once real quick as the dev and panicked to hit the submit button. My bad! Thanks so much for giving my game a try!
