Ranked from 27 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.
How does your game fit the theme?
Each level you must complete a task with 10 second countdown timer. You countdown the tasks until you've completed all 10 to beat the game. You countdown the number of robot lives as try to navigate past chatty co-workers. You try to make the most out of each robot life as your battery and levels count down. You resupply the printer with ink as its supply counts down. You wait for your carbine reload to count down as you reduce the count of enemies down to zero. You read and respond to emails until you get your unread count down to zero.

Really cute aesthetics and nice music! Felt a bit overwhelmed with the mission explanations at times, but nice game :)
Last game jam I was responsible and made a tutorial, plus intro levels for mechanics where you can't fail, added difficulty, and then synthesis levels.
This jam I was like "whoops I have no tutorial and gotta submit!" Maybe I just have the narrator explain what he can reaaaal quick so you're spot on haha πββοΈ
Your game also had a cute aesthetic! In your honor I will sync up some flutes to some actions in a future game πͺπΆ
Great job! The audio, visuals, ui, and gameplay are really working well together. The level difficulty seems to be somewhat random, but Iβm not sure if you made that intentional. I would suggest having some dedicated levels so that you can learn the mechanics more organically, but otherwise you were able to achieve such amazing polish in the time limit of the jam. Congratulations!
Thank you fellow narrative warioware-esquer (maybe we need a better term). Totally true, and it was NOT intentional. The later (lower levels) are usually a larger version of the original levels but I think specifically the multiple versions (ghost versions) level the second level was easier than the original because you just drop the stapler in the chute.
Your game was one of my faves, I hope to see u in future jams!
Wow! I loved the art, more specifically the shader you used, it really fits the game. Also, I found really funny the dubbing and the fact that you had to replay some levels while your past self distracts talkative people. My favourite levels were the donut one and the printer one btw. Nice game, felt reallly polished!
Title screen rizz. It's voice acted what is going on, this is a jam, Sirs. Love that you go all out with that too. Good set of varied puzzles, pressured by a time limit that doesn't feel artificial (unlike Janet who is still talking...). Saying controls for each of the levels, allowing me to skip levels are all very appreciated in a jam game too!
I tell myself in the mirror each day: "Slop, if you're gonna make an irresponsible number of levels the least you can do is make a level select" and I did it this time so I consider that personal growth.
With all these games counting down I was starting to feel like I'm in a pressure cooker so your game stood out and was quite relaxing πββοΈ
Very cute game ! The scope is huge for a 4 days game, clean 3D models and voice acting, i'm very impressed by how polished this game is !! Level difficulty is a bit irregular but still that's a great game. Bravo !
Thank you, your game had beautiful 3d models and "hand"-crafted (hehe it's a pun).
I was pretty irresponsible with not getting playtesters this time around, I think you're totally right π
If ya'll add multiplayer to your game I have 3 requests:
1. Let players high-five each other
2. Let players donate fingers
3. When the second player joins say "This is getting out of hand! Now, there are two of them!"
Haha !! Funny joke, heart-warming compliment, and great ideas.. Thank you ! Also, I think it's hard to find the time for a playtesting session during a game jam, you can always make an early build to test it yourself with the team though.. But anyways, I think that for a game jam little difficulty irregularities are no big deal.. Your game is awesome !
I love good practices here, specially the level select feature!
I had a hard time understanding some of the tasks and completed it without realizing what was going on, the time pressure did not help.
Otherwise, fun idea and nice execution. Also, thanks for playing our game :)
I am guilty yet again of making too many levels (last game jam I made 30 π what is wrong with meeee).
My stupid brain was too ambitious and didn't think of an idea where we could introduce more relaxing tutorials for mechanics so I kind of slapped narration onto each level and hoped players could figure it out in 10 seconds, so considering that you exceeded expectations!
Your game was really clever I did not expect it to be the oddly-satisfying physics-based platformer it was and I love playing games that are voice acted they add so much charm. Thanks!
Hilarious game, loved it! Also Gary is just the worst. Very creative!
Incredibly polished game. One of the best I've seen so far!
Damn!! This is so cool! Did you do all of the voice acting yourself? I absolutely loved the printing man's voice "CYAAANNN!", "MAGGIENTAA!", and Mickey Mouse saying "YELLOW" had me laughing. That was such a nice touch.
This is one of the best narrative games I've played in this game jam. You absolutely nailed it. Great job!
Narrative gamers unite, thank you! Yea all the voice acting was pitched up/down to sound like a robot kinda.
Your computer OS wuz cool π!
I think I'm just a sucker for games where you control a computer in the game even though if you're playing a game you're already using a computer π©βπ»π€π
Just reading the title/thumbnail I expected a number heavy game mechanic and a kinda sad story. As soon as the game starts - a cute robot that gets adressed as "ten-ten" (<3) and a overall colorful and chill vibe β instant relief :D Best narrative so far - nice voice over :)
Thank you!
Warioware minigames was one of my original ideas and then this game ended up kind of different so it was nice to get to play tight, well-polished πβ¨minigames.
It definitely hit on the notes of playful trickery and time pressure / just survive, there's only a few seconds left! from WW
I hope a bunch of people get to play it!
I loved the voice over and story too. I wish I had longer than 10 seconds (because I wanted to be listening to the co workers vs just planning my next move. This reminded me of Minit! Thanks for playing my game too :)
I hadn't seen Minit! I just giggled at the cursed sword reveal.
I had too much fun recording the coworker dialogue and was thinking to myself that players probably wouldn't hear most of it because they're racing to finish the level with the correct dialogue options haha.
I felt guilty about my lack of tutorialization when I felt how well you laid out the different bomb mechanics π£.
I thought last night when I was going to sleep we could refer to your game as a tight-knit, explosive experience π§¨π₯!
10 stages of various genres of gameplay. Love the voiceover. One feedback I can give is that when describing the rules of at the beginning of a stage, it can be helpful to move the camera near the objective. Very solid entry!
That's a great piece of feedback! I added a preview to my last game jam game (it was like golf where you can steer a car to the goal)
And origin -> end goal camera preview made the levels so much more readable.
I was impressed with all the things you did with a fake OS and computer interface, I'm tempted to make mine more involved now!
Very impressive! Similar concept to my team's submission but yours is executed much better haha
