One of the most unique platformer game in this jam. I love idea. We can place trap and enemies on our way. And trying to find a path to complete stage. Its really cool idea :D My only negative word for this game is there is no restart button :( if we block ourselves there is no way to pass. I did alt+f4 many times and restarted games. If you add this feature and more chapter this game can be very succesful.
Oh and I can say one thing about sound effects : I just love it <3 :D
We immensely appreciate the feedback. In hindsight it is weird we didnt add that as a feature but in the moment I think we didn't want the player to immediately restart the stage just because they didn't like their outcome. The main core of the game is to make something that can work for you personally using the rng elements given. If we do continue this as a bigger project, it will definitely be something we consider for difficulty balancing and fairness but probably not in the form of a traditional restart button. Again though, thanks for playing!!
The game mechanic really surprised me. It was very enjoyable!
Nice sound effects lol. The game has the level of polish I expect from a 48-hour jam game, the mechanics are worked out nicely and the game just has a nice feel to it.
Nice game, love the sound effects xd
10/10 SFX. Great concept, super fun mechanics and gameplay - pretty well balanced too. Reminds me of the game Ultimate Chicken Horse in the sense that you build your own level. My only gripe is that some levels might be a bit *too* difficult, or maybe I'm just bad idk. Great job :)
This is a very interesting concept, big Ultimate Chicken Horse vibes. The sound effects caught me off guard and are hilarious hahaha (Especially the walljump!). I had a little trouble placing the objects I rolled and didn't quite understand why I couldn't place them at first, but once I did it made for a really interesting mechanic. :D
Very creative take on the concept! The sound is very funny and it fits the style well. The one big flaw with this is the player controller is a little lacking sometimes, especially with the wall jump. Thats something to try and improve on next time. Other then that I love the idea and the game is very fun.
Gameplay is fun and music reminds me of Megaman
Cant get any better if you have sound like this : D
I love the mechanics of this! Very creative interpretation of the theme and I love the idea of making your own randomised levels! Platforming is pretty difficult though. Great game name too!.
a really solid idea but man am I bad at platformers
Haha, thanks for playing it!
Maybe if you get some lucky rolls, the stages won't be too hard : D
Really enjoyed this submission. Like the art style a lot, like the tappin music, and the sound effects were funny. Really interesting take giving the player a random element of what enemies go in which box, but then giving them the option to put the enemy where they want. Makes it feel better than just getting the bad side of RNG and like I'm clever for making it a little easier depending on my placement. Good work, I had fun.

Thank you for checking it out! Glad you felt clever when doing the enemy placement, that was something I really wanted to strive for in the concept phase. Having the player decide whether their placement is going to be super easy or brutally difficult but still accommodating for some simple rng to not make things too complicated. : D
A single player version of ultimate chicken horse, but with awesome music and hilarious effects! Would love to see this one developed further after the jam!
Thank you for streaming our game, we really appreciate it. Like you said, we do hope to continue this concept in the future and fine tune a lot of details for a newer version, specifically like making sure the player knows where they spawn, that is way more crucial than we initially thought. Good suggestion! : D
I frickin loved this. The gameplay was fun. The mechanics were solid. The "create your own level" thing was so well designed. And yet it was the SFX that made this one of my favorite games this jam. You guys are amazing and I'm so glad I got a chance to play this!
Awesome take to the theme! Really enjoyable to build up my own level. The sound effects and the enemies are really fun. The whole game (looks, sprites, sounds, name) feels really connected. One of the best that I have played. Great job getting that all done in a weekend.
Thank you! : D
First of all, wonderful sound effects. Making the player place enemies according to dice rolls is very clever, and trying to pass the level when there are too many enemies in one section is really challenging and fun.
Thanks! We literally just recorded my friends voice for all the sfx, and used the first take on everything. Quite the fun experience : D
"Hey you can't place that here, what do you think you're doing, POLICE"
Great idea!, And the sound effects are hilarious, the graphic are kind of all blending in, it's hard to see the cactus. Great work!
See a preview of the game here!
Most creative idea i've seen so far.
I'd suggest linking your YT video in the comments. since it's not a web game. people will want to see the gameplay before downloading it.
Thank your for the suggestion, I did that!
We are glad you are liking the game. : D
Tasty :)
Thank you! : D
