It's actually really similar to what I did with my game ! Gets repetitive, but I like the blue pallete.
The level-design here is pretty nice! No level felt too much difficult, they had an interesting solution. With maybe an exception for the very last one, which unfortunately was just tedious. I also really liked the clean design, especially the helpful indicator on the bottom right. this was a nice execution of the concept. Well done!
There were a couple games of this idea this jam, but this I think is the best executed in terms of allowing the player to fully understand their position in relation to the puzzle elements. The indicator on the bottom right is wonderfully clear at communicating the orientation and layout of the current die, and I felt like it was much easier to work out the puzzle logically because of that. The animations are brilliantly clean too, and the addition of an undo feature is very much appreciated. Great work!
There's probably like 100s of these dice roller games in this jam (I worked on one too), but the painting of the numbers on the dice is a gimmick I hadn't seen yet and the puzzles were all pretty well-designed. Nice minimalistic visual style too. The UI helper for the sides of the die feels like a must-have at this point (we wanted to add one for our game, but never got around to it lol).
Puzzles were outstanding. Highlight of the game jam.
Creativity is my highest score. It's a very creative game. Although the images are simple, they look beautiful. section makes you think. it's a really good game
Much much better than the usual dice rolling almost half the people did, and the visuals are very clear and they look amazing. Overall, I have no idea how you've done this, great work!
really cool twist on the "just dice rolling" many people made, I enjoyed it alot, i think the levels where a bit too easy, but maby thats because of the amount of dice I rolled by now...
Absolutely fantastic. Love the minimalist art, and the puzzles were very creative. Got all the way to END :)
Neat concept!
At first I thought it would be really hard since the game is in 2D and you have to mentalize every move you make, but it is easier than it looks.
The levels are well made to teach the mechanics and then to put this knowledge to the test! I did not feel like I was bruteforcing the solutions and it made me think to solve the levels!
The visual are nice and simple, the lack of music is a big help to concentrate and there is just the right amount of sound fx!
Well done!
I saw some game with this idea, and most of those in 2D failed because it was hard to tell which face was where. But you succeeded splendidly ! That felt like a real puzzle game, and I had to think instead of bruteforcing solutions.
Well done!
The game reminded me of old puzzle game I used to play some years ago, it was nice playing it, excellent concept! Didn't managed to go that far, either because I'm terrible or because it's far too late to play that kind of game :D
Very good entry!
