Very cool how it shows you the other sides of the dice, Loved it!
Thank you very much!
I think that, if the dice movement was a little clearer, this game would be even better than it already is! It’s still fun to complete levels using half-logic half-guessing-until-it-plays-a-sound-effect, though ;)
lmao I’m glad you had fun! Thanks for playing!
I really like the sound effects and artwork. I think the concept of the game is really great, but as I was playing it was a little confusing how to exactly control the dice. After I beat each level it felt really satisfying!
Overall this is a fun puzzle game and I'd definitely play it again if you decide to further develop!
I am trully glad you enjoyed it even with the weird dice mechanics! Thank you so much for playing, rating and commenting!
Like others have said, it's a little unclear at first what's going on, but once you slow down to really pay attention I like it a lot! Nice idea, great job submitting
Thank you so much for playing!
The fact you have a good UI for showing the dice sides really adds a nice amount of oomph to this concept. It really leaves room for strategic play – that's fun! Good job!
Thank you so much for playing and reviewing!
I loved Levels! Good job!
by the way could you play and rate my game?
Thanks! Of course, I’ll play all the games of people commenting here, I’m just focusing on less reviewed games first. Thanks for commenting and rating my game!
The levels were interesting, and the side faces being visible is really nice.
The dice logic is indeed off, but tbf it's harder to do than it seems, especially under time constraint.
Good job !
Thank you so much for playing and commenting!!
Good theme implementation but the dice logic is a bit off. If i only played one game of this type i might do well but i have developped a skill of rolling the dice in a puzzle game from the past 2 days and your movement really threw me off :D Anyway, solid entry :)
I described kinda how it works in the description, there is a logic, its just not the logic you would expect from a real dice xD Thank you so much for playing and rating!!
kinda took a while to understand all less visible dice are an indicator. i dunno if it count as a bug but i found when i went again to numbers that i have passed, it dings and count it as passed again? but over all cool game :D
Thank you so much for playing and commenting!! About re-visiting spots, its just the sound that plays, but that is place is already marked as done in code. I should remove the sound!
Cute little Bloxorz-like! The indicators are really helpful, the graphics and sfx are charming, and obviously it sticks to the theme well. Also nice to see a fellow Godoter :)
Salute fellow Godoter! Been in love with this engine for over a year now, I also love when I spot an entry that used it! Thanks for playing, rating and commenting!!
Cool game! The previews of the die faces really helped me visualize the next move, and I thought it was a really nice touch! The puzzles were great at a nice difficulty level, and the controls were really intuitive. One thing that'd be cool to add is maybe like a move counter and like the optimal number of moves. Overall though this was a very fun game and I enjoyed it a lot! Great job!
Thank you so much for the feedback and tips! I completely agree, limiting the amount of movements, or at least giving higher scores to the most optimal solutions would sure be a great improvement.
Great puzzle game! I really like how you managed to show different die faces in 2D.
Thank you very much!
I had the same mechanics and was surprised that tricks that I learned on my game didn’t worked here. Then I read the comment about dice movement. Showing other sides is a great improvement though!
I can only imagine how weird it felt to have all the skills but somehow the movement didn't match lol sorry for that, but still, theres a logic to the movement, so you can try to get the logic as you play it. Anyway, I intend to fix it after the jam. Thank you very much for playing, it is a pleasure to have someone with the same idea playing my game to give insights!
yo nice one ,a unique take on theme, I think there is a bug where I rolled the dice vertically so, the horizontal face should not change right but they were getting swapped and all of sudden it stopped swapping , it's like it fixed itself , would have been more fun if you had implemented in 3D, which engine did you use ?
Unfortunately, you're right, I tried to aware people on the description, there is a logic to the movement, its just that its not how a real dice would roll, I'm very sorry. I used Godot, I'll try to make a 3D update after the jam, it would make it much easier to spot the sides and move the cube. Thanks for playing and commenting!
A lot of fun to play! I like how it shows what side you will be on if you move a certain direction, makes it a lot simpler.
Thank you very much!
Cool implementation of the idea! I have hard time playing this type of puzzle games, beacuse you have to constantly keep in mind all the sides of the die. So showing the player on which side he would land in the most direct way possible is a great addition, in my opinion.
I plan to change the whole concept to 3D, this way it'll be easier to spot the sides! Thanks for playing and giving feedback!
Same concept as "rooooooling dice" but with a nice important add-on, a tuto !
Thanksss! I really appreciate it !
I've seen a few variations on this idea, but I really like how yours gives clear indications of which side it would land on. Like you said in your description, the dice doesn't behave exactly how you expect, but it kind of adds to the randomness of the theme and helps your game stand out.
Thank you so much, and thanks for reading description. I felt very bad when I realised my code wasnt properly reflecting dice movement, but your thought on it made me feel less worried. Thanks so much for playing and enjoying!!
No problem!
Having made a game about rolling a cube I thought I had a pretty good grasp on the idea starting out, felt satisfying for the first few levels! I realized by the final level that I hadn't mastered it like i thought lol. Cool, novel idea for a game about rolling a cube- I've seen my own idea done a few times by others in this jam, but this is unique as far as I can tell!
thank you so much for playing and commenting!! yes, the dice movement needs a little tweaking to actually feel like a dice rolling arround, now its just fixed directions (like "if 4 is showing, then left side is 1, right is 6, front is 2, back is 5")
I really like the concept! I was a little confused as to why certain numbers were where but overall it's very nice!
Thank you very much for reviewing!!
