The concept of the game is new to me and creative for the theme. But I can't enjoy really much because my web browser is so laggy. Maybe next you could make a stand-alone version. Also it's really hard to understand the purpose of the game, maybe you should add some instructions.

Developer

The purpose is only to explore and experience all dialogue paths with NPC-

Developer

Next time i will make sure tu include a download, thank you for your feedback!

The concept was interesting and the art was good but some sort of on screen indicator for the train would be helpful

Developer

Not implementing a clear indicator was a conscious decision to increase tension

I tried to play your game, but all I got was a black screen with my money shown in the top left. I could hear that things were going on, but I couldn't see anything.

I'm using Firefox on Linux, so I'm assuming the Unity export just doesn't like that combination for some reason.

I really like the concept and how the theme was implemented! However, I think the game needs a little more polish! Apart from that, it is a great idea and quite good implementation!

BEST OF LUCK:)

I like the concept, with a bit of refinement this could make for a very interesting game!

Developer

Thanks!

Here's my feedback:

  • Game resolution is too large for web.
  • It's hard to say for how much longer the train will stay.
  • There's not real incentive to try and stay off the train for too long, maybe you could have added a mechanic that forces you to pay for a ticket every time you get on the train.

the game is hard to play. the train leaves almost immediately and the warning music doesn't help much. needs polish.

Developer

Yeah, it really needs that. But it is meant to make the player optimise their routes. And the noises before the music sognal the remaining time in their frequency.

I didn't have anyone for game art, and i overscoped on the level design, this i why i had to rush it.

Interesting concept of exploring the world with the pressure of risking losing the game if I venture too far. However, the game felt a bit unfinished, because everyone thanked me for all the money I gave them even though I did not have any to begin with. On the other hand, I found a brick, so I had some riches!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, i really overscoped on the level design and this also made me not have enough time to write interesting dialogues at the end. Basically i had to scrap the vast majority of the payoff part of the game. But i learned all this, so it was worth it.

It's alright, didn't manage to get anything, would be cool to have like an arrow to guide you and maybe a progress bar that shows up when the train is about to leave but the game works fine

Developer

Not adding a progress bar was a conscious decision. Because, the only indicator if the remaining time (the noise) is not so precise, you have to make more sacrifices, and it builds more pressure.

very interesting game concept!  I wasn't sure how to find riches...I was worried the train would leave me!

Developer(+1)

that's the point, the pressure. If you go out and explore, you find stuff here and there. The game takes "riches" a bit liberally; a brick is "riches for me". Although you can find microwaves and even gold

oh cool!  Ok I'll give it another try
