Cool game with great visuals everything looks super polished and I like the addition of a tutorial
Pretty nice game!
I like it a lot, I have some suggestions:
You could let the players choose if they want to leave an empty spot in beetwen actions, so there will have more strategy involved.
You could add an undo button because sometimes I missclicked or I wanted to make a change and it was kind of frustrating not being able to change my actions.
Also I think the game over screen don't work right, I couldn't press the buttons.
The idea was interesting and I liked how the rps-system was utilized, but after a few rounds it did start to feel samey and I wondered if there may have been ways to make the choices more involved.
Also letting you click to advance combat would have been nice for QoL.
Still an neat little game that you were able to put together, from what I've seen, flawlessly in a really short amount of time. Great job!
Thank you very much! You make a great point about the clicks to speed up the combat and we'll try to implement more content in the future in order to make it a bit less repetitive in the long run. :)
The game feels a little bit uninspired and I feel like it completely missed the mark. The gameplay revolves around randomly generated cards whose only connection to dice rolls is the display of dice you get when the cards are being generated and then putting the randomly generated cards on the board in an order that will counter the opponents cards, implying there is at least some strategy involved within the randomized card selection, except you have to really pray and guess what order the opponent's cards will be put on the board so it destroys any strategy you had going. You also can't change the order of the cards once you've put them on the board or remove them, meaning one misclick and your card is gone. The art style is very simple, which I wouldn't mind if the gameplay was more complex, and the high-fantasy music doesn't really fit the gameplay. The only actual element of "roll of the dice" is the dice roll you get in between matches that heals you based on the number that rolls. Once you lose you get two options but the buttons don't work. I like the rock, paper, scissors aspect, I just feel like the execution wasn't in place and not connected enough to the theme of the jam. Either change up the gameplay so there is more strategy involved (like knowing what order your opponent will play their cards in) or make it feel completely chaotic and remove the "strategy" aspect and make everything a dice roll to fit the theme better.
Thank you for taking the time to play our game and give us your feedback! Due to the shortage of time we had to prioritize the functionality over the representation, see each action is linked to a number of the dice, that's why there're 6 actions. In the future we'll make sure to display the icons directly on the dice to avoid any confusion and also include the "clear seleccion" button. :)
Great game! Drawing multiple hands and having to second guess your opponent whilst limiting risk made for a really interesting challenge, with way more depth than I was expecting :)
Thank you so much for playing and we're really happy that you liked it! :)
Such a fun concept, and it fits the theme really well. Well done
