Nice game. Looks good and the game mechanic is not bad too. Also the element system adds some depth to the game. Good job.

Nice job! I game my feedback on stream but I think having the player discard their hand at the end of turn would help from getting stuck with a bunch of dice that don't help in that fight. Also would be nice to see some indicator for what the enemy's dice will be so we can make an informed decision about what to.
Nice music and art!
Maybe it's something on my end, but I have reached level 7 and still haven't seen any white dice. Even so, I think the mechanic of white dice probably needs some work. Since dice don't go away from hand, player is forced to use wrong white dice, which only hurt his damage, or this dice get stuck in their hand.
Despite that the gameplay was enjoyable, although I would suggest rerolling the dice in hand at the end of turn so that player doesn't end up with a bunch of 1s.
Good job!
Love the gameplay !! It was nice and simple ! the concept was super original and fit the theme really well. Great work!! :D
I really like this idea. Could easily expand on this with more elements.
You could even add a bag builder mechanic where the player can influence which dice are available to roll, so they could choose a more offensive or defensive playstyle.
Art is awesome too!
The art is wonderful, but gameplay wise the game is a bit lacking. Out of all elements I only had a bunch of water dice without a single fire enemy, I have no understanding of what the enemies are capable of (a visible dice pool would be helpful, perhaps), and there was no healing whatsoever. I really loved how the lose-replay cycle is done with the curtains - nice little detail that had me replaying again without a second thought :D
Thank you so much for playing it!
The gameplay had some huge flaws because of that you said. I had a system to show the player the sides of each dice, but I couldn't finish it on time and had to cut it off.
Each dice have 3 sides that are randomly generated at the start. Knowing the possibilities of each roll changes all the strategy!
I'm really sad I couldn't implement it.. =/
But that's the life at a 48h game jam! Haha
The art was fantastic, I'm sorry I never wrapped my head around the combat system
Fun turn-based game, the pixel art and music were really nice! Maybe I was really unlucky because I kept rolling water dice again the mermaid. I still made it to level 10 :)
Thank you for play it!
Actually, the dices have not truly random values. Each one of the five slots have a "real dice" with 3 sides. Unfortunately I couldn't implement a system to show it. Probably you get unlucky at your dice deck.
Knowing the values that can appear at your dices make a huge difference at the gameplay. =/
I like this game a lot! I enjoyed the "slay the spire" style balancing between offensive and defensive turns, and thought the element system added a lot of depth (Although I wish there was a way to get rid of elemental dice you're never going to use). The pixel art for the characters was consistently creative and high quality! Great stuff!
I enjoy turn-based games. On second try I got to level 9, even though I had almost no special dice. I think I should get rid of some weak slots when I can to improve the chance?! You had music and effects, well done in that short time span!!
The random system didn't liked me... Yet I had the nice time with this one. The pokemon attack style is nice idea!
Wow, I'm blown away with the way this looks. I could not make pixel art that good period, let alone in 48 hours. Very impressive!
Yeah, sometimes you have to sacrifice a turn to "burn out" some special dices, depending on your deck. I had a lot of ideas for new dices and ways to improve the strategy, but I did prefer to stick with the basics of the original idea to have something to submit on time. 48h Jams are tuff! XD
Thank you very much for your review!
Great art and I like it! I'm also surprised that you also made soundtrack within the time! Good work!
I really liked the art and the pokemon rock paper scissors mechanic
