Absolutely incredible visuals and sounds. It all feels so genuinely retro. The player character also has some amazing and satisfying movement. By far one of my favourite games in the entire game jam I just love these retro platformers so much. Keep up the great work.

Such a beautiful presentation! Really 5 stars, the look is really charming and cohesive.

The gameplay is really arcady and fun! Only thing I'd maybe change is having the ability to dash horizontally to attack enemies more straight on. But it's a really fun entry!

dope character art! very cute and fun.

Love the presentation, and I'm always a sucker for arcade games.

It's a fun game overall. But I have some gripes: firstly, your hat isn't part of your hit box so you always have to jump to reach coins. Also, while I love the feedback you get for rolling on the ground, where you kinda wobble, it takes a bit of control away, which would be fine, but a lot of platforms are too small for it. And yeah, a tutorial screen of sorts would be great.

But I had a lot of fun! Love the graphics and the music even more. Reminds of me of Sonic CD, and that's a compliment.

Admittedly the decision to make it so you always have to jump to reach coins was so that you can't earn points without re-rolling. And I agree, some of the stages have way too small of platforms, which likely wouldn't have passed if I weren't under a deadline.

Fun game I loved the art style and upbeat music. The gameplay was very reminiscent of the original Mario Bros but I loved the coin collecting mechanic and how the points were scored. Also one bit of feedback, when you landed after jumping the character bounced back up a little bit which made me miss a few jumps. Nice job!

I love the presentation. Art and colours are great, as are the sound effects, and the 'game over' dice at the end are a nice touch! I understood the character rolls himself whenever you jump but that didn't seem to have any impact on gameplay, so I think adherence to the theme is a bit lacking. Otherwise it is just fairly standard platforming. Would have liked to see a little more creativity. Overall great work though and well done for finishing to a high quality!

Every time you land, your number changes. The point value of enemies and chips change depending on the number on the dice involved.

If I had a bit more time I would've attempted to add an attract mode that explains these traits in the game.

I loved the graphics, I found the game very fun, good vibes... it reminded me a bit of a Mario game, anyway, congratulations for the work!
