At every checkpoint, a number 1-6 determines which platforms stay and which go. You choose the number, but you roll your luck for the tiles you don't remember.

Cool game! I love how it naturally gets harder the longer you play, and the map shifts organically. Throwing the bouncy pucks is a nice level of strategy to overcome the randomness. I like it!

Thanks Nathan, and thanks for taking the time to play through it!

Okay, I would have liked if you toned down the unreal engine-ness of the game, cause it ran slow on my PC

I second the addition of a minimap, while I get that you were supposed to pay attention to the tiles you go through, realistically you won't see them all (especially later when theres so few ways to traverse)

Thanks for taking the time to play through it.
Agreed on the unrealness, definitely a bigger issue for a lot of people by the sounds. Noted on the minimap!

a little bit more leniency when going diagonal with squares missing on the sides and maybe a mini map would be nice. i think with a little more this concept can go a lot further!

Thanks for taking a look!
Plenty of ideas for improvement and agreed on the minimap.

The movement felt pretty good. I did have a moment of confusion since both mouse and keyboard could control the direction (but I could not figure out a jump key aside from space). The throwing of the disk was a little hard to control to get where I wanted.

Thank you for the interesting game submission this year.

Feel free to check out the game I made with a group for this jam too https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-jam-2022/rate/1618446
