Super polished! The fight was engaging and the artwork added a lot to the experience. Since the theme was released I was looking forward to playing some cool RPG-type games and yours is among the top! Great work!

Developer

I'm very glad to hear that!

Very polished game, also the theme was incorporated very well. It took me a couple of tries, but eventually, I beat it. It's very fun, having that risky reroll option with a chance of getting a worse or better outcome. Really good job!

Thank you!

The art style is great and goes well with the game. The idea is very interesting too, and it's well made.

Small detail but the typewritting effect on the help texts confused my greatly, I expected things that hare happening now to have typewritting, but help and tooltips to appear instantly.

Oh, I see now!

Amazing art and graphics, it's got a really cool feel to it. The sound of rolling the dice was very satisfying. Good job on this!

Developer

I love sound design!

Awesome entry this! Picked it up relatively quickly and had a blast, visuals off the charts too!

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you had fun!

Very high quality and fun to play!

Well done for participating!

Developer

Thank you, sir, it means a lot!

Huge thumbs up for sfx and visuals. What i love the most is the dice mechanic. I think it's really cool that you can reroll and i think there is a lot of potential to just add bosses, ket them have special powers and maybe a little storytelling between bossfights. Love it!

Hi very cool

Developer

Hi very thanks

Submitted(+1)

loveley style and such a great vertical slice of something you could turn into a bigger game!

I can imagine you customizing your dicebag and spells to upgrade you character/party and to mold it to your playstyle.

Incredibly solid entry!

Developer

Incredibly thank you sir!

I had some good fun with this, I got this feeling of danger and scale which is hard to get in turn based games. I think the art really helps sell atmosphere and the mechanics we're interesting enough while striking a nice balance of complexity.

Developer

Thank you, kind sir!

I enjoyed this thoroughly. The SFX and art style are top notch and made me feel like I was fighting a formidable foe. Nice one!

Developer

Hahaha, thanks!

You nailed the fun of turn based combat. The risk factor was really well done. The sounds are good. The boss looks good. The game is really easy to understand. Everything in this game just feels right. The only thing I would wish for more is content itself, (and also maybe more animations for the attacks).  This is my favorite game in this jam so far.

Developer

The content is relatively bare-bones mainly because I do not excel at making RPGs. Actually, it's my first time!

Of all the 'roll the dice to attack' rpg-style games i've seen thus far, this one is easily the best

Developer

I'm flattered!

This was the most fun game I've played so far. The combat mechanics are well executed and the art is divine. Great job for a game that is made just under 48 hours <3

Developer

Aww, thanks!

Engaging combat, cool!

Developer

Thank you!

This is short but sweet. Though the monster could've had a health bar.

Developer

The monster's body is a dice, it represents his health. Look at the amount of dots!

Submitted(+1)

Nice game! I've seen a few of these RPG fight games for this jam, but this is by far the prettiest looking one of them

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

It isn't often you come across a game as simple and self-explanatory as this. I was able to pick it up immediately and nothing was left misunderstood. The art is fantastic and the game has a nice feel to it. My one criticism is that there is no boss health bar, but maybe I just missed that. Overall I really enjoyed it. It was a bit short, but for a proof of concept jam game it does the job. You took a solid game mechanic and ran. Good job!

I am so sorry, I have no clue what happened there. I don't know if it happened on your end as well but it seems I accidentally posted the same comment three times? I've deleted them but hopefully you don't get a ton of emails from it.

Developer

It is alright

Developer

I'm glad you found my game intuitive! I was really worried I didn't have time to make a tutorial... The monster's body is a dice, it represents his health. Look at the amount of dots!

Enjoyed everything about it - fantastic jam submission.
