Great game! The fact that it was submitted checks notes 1 day, 17 hours before the deadline is astonishing! It adds a cool depth to gameplay that you do not just deal damage with dice, but also need to strategically place them on board.

Thanks! We submitted the game early and only pushed updates as we went along just to be sure we were entered in the jam, I think the last update was around half an hour before the hard deadline. We kinda botched our submission last year so our game wasn't even entered in the jam back then, didn't want to make that mistake again!

Can’t praise it enough! Very well designed, simple, yet lots of fun and totally addicting.

Impressive spin on turn-based/grid-based combat. Easy to pick up controls, just the right amount of strategic gameplay (requiring depth of thought without being overwhelming), and everything about the presentation is very charming. Definitely the type of game I could see myself playing for an hour straight without realizing it :) Fantastic work!

HECKA NICE!!  score of 960 was my record.  Incredible visuals, incredible gameplay, super satisfying sound effects.  This one in my opinion takes the cake.  The polish achieved in 48 hours is incredible ^^

Unbelievably polished for a 48hr jam, awesome job!

While the gameplay isn't much to write home about it still had my attention for a surprising amount of time due to it being simple, easy to learn, but very satisfying to watch play out.

Awesome game. From the art being clean, to the gameplay all meshing well together, to the strategy involved, it works so well together. Nice job!

Loved the artstyle and the variety of enemies.

The gameplay is so much fun, you never get tired of it.

Super polished game! The dice mechanic was fun to pick up, and it was satisfying watching the attacks take form (those villagers do not look like they're having a good time lmao). It would be interesting if the player knew which dice were coming next so they can more effectively strategize. Overall great job!

Interesting take on the jam's theme. I really enjoyed the time playing your game. What I would have wished for would be some kind of player progress, for example in the form of upgrades => upgraded dices => challenging encounters. Besides that, i think this is a amazing submission. I really love the overall presentation of the game. Great job!

This game was so fun to play! The die mechanic really had me on my toes having to try and make the best combos that I could. Also love the naming convention for some of the stages too. >W<
