Love the art, really great game, there was one instance where I accidentally skipped a level (just swapped two commands and then the level was completed, without destroying enemies, it was level 5 I think).

Really cool game. Liked how polish it was and how interesting the puzzles were. Only problem is I wish the levels started being paused. We also made a puzzle game. Would be glad if you checked it out!

I liked the game. Cool graphics, good sounds. Interesting levels.

A little confusing, but that's good. My only issue is that it doesn't inherently start paused, making it a quick time event upon arriving at a new level.

Would appreciate it for some feedback on my game too!

Hey, played and commented on your game; it's really cool! I had a lot of fun!

WOW! this puzzle game really polished and artwork so nice, I need to say that it the great one.

I love the puzzles you came up with :D

Also the artwork and sounds are on point, and the spin of the theme is great, gj :D

What a very well-polished puzzle game! Everything is put with intention and done very well!

Just a question from a fellow Godot developer, what do you use for screen transitions? Is there an existing plugin or did you write the effect yourself? I really liked how it looks

Developer

Thank you! The effect itself is a simple fullscreen shader on a color rect (I modified a shader I found on the godot shaders site, you can find a lot here: https://godotshaders.com/shader-tag/transition) - I attached a script to it to tween its shader parameters (how much of the screen is covered, and from which direction to transition). This color rect scene is spawned in by the SceneManager (autoload) whenever I reload or go to a new scene - so its independent of the levels itself.

Nice, the solution with autoload sounds pretty elegant. I think I understand now. Thank you so much!

i love the reset and win sound effects!! overall, the game is incredibly fun, if a bit confusing at start. only criticism i have about it is that the level plays immediately after loading it, so it makes a bit difficult to understand whats going on. despite it, i love the game. goes in my collection :3

Developer(+1)

yes that's very true - our idea was to present the level as a static loop that you have to disrupt, but we kinda made the levels last minute lol. Thanks for playing!

I like the idea of swapping out the commands and how you need to plan out what will happen.

Submitted(+1)

It's a good puzzler with increasing difficulty. The animation for completing a level is very satisfying haha. Well done!

I got really confused on the first level at first, then I realized you can transfer the robots' commands as well. I initially thought you could only change its own commands, haha. Once I understood that mechanic though, it became pretty straightforward.

Great job ! We also went with 8-bit style effects. Love the SFX.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, swapping the levels 1 and 2 would have made the trick of communicating the mechanics to the player. But we were kinda last minute. Glad you enjoyed it though!

Kind of hard to grasp the idea at first. But really great concept and art!

Thanks !

Good concept fun puzzle solving took me a second to understand the goal but was really fun when I got the hang of it.

very cool concept! had to mute the sound after a while though, sorry!

Developer

I am kind of a newbie at sound design 😓i tried to beat match the moves, maybe it was not a good idea.

I feel like the doctor but if they where an idiot

Very fun - though I wouldn't complain about a hints system lol

Glad you liked it !
