How does your game fit the theme?
Knitting is fundamentally about creating loops of yarn that interlock to form a piece of fabric. "Little Knit" is just that - a simple game where you create different knit patterns by completing sequences of stitches.

It's pretty obvious you ran out of time, but whats there is a solid foundation waiting to be expanded upon. The quality so far is really good, just not the quantity.
Thank you! There would be more content if it wasn't for the time constraint, that's for sure. Definitely want to expand it in the future. :)
I really enjoyed the way you interpreted the thematic! It gives me cozy game vibes, where you open it so you can relax or to just pass the time.
I think it works really well as a mobile game if you want to further work on it!
The artstyle is cute and simple. Good job ^^
Didn't think about putting it on mobile devices, but it makes total sense. I'll definitely consider it. Thank you! :)
5 minutes for a sweater? Nana Loops is a much faster knitter than me ;)
Short and sweet game! One thing of note: I mashed the cross stitch buttons repeatedly when I forgot which key was a loop, and I guess those inputs got saved, so the next cross stitch in that row immediately completed, which was an interesting bug!
Hopefully one day that sheep gets a sweater that actually is its favorite color!
Nana Loops can knit at a breakneck speed, that's for sure! :) I did run into this bug once when testing the game just before submitting! Thanks for feedback and playing!
Hello! I enjoyed your game. the opening cutscene was very funny. The sheep's face killed me. The inputs were very satisfying to put in. with more levels and more art this could make a real good cozy game. Congrats on submitting!

I'm really glad you enjoyed it. The cutscene was probably the last thing I added before submitting so I'm very happy you liked it (and the sheep specifically)!
I loved it. It's short, that's for sure. but lovely and i would love to see more levels and a proper storyline. Nice work!
Thank you! I'd love to expand the storyline and add more gameplay bits, so that's definitely coming!
Fun to see knitting game, it was on my brainstorm list and I had no clue how to actually make it happen! I think this approach is quite good, I could see you eventually building up to like 20X100 projects where you actually get in the flow state of knitting. Nice job!
I had some other knitting games in mind, but it was hard to make them fun. The one I ended up pivoting to had the most room to grow. Thanks a lot for playing! :)
I enjoyed this quite a bit. While a short game, great use of the theme and I picked up the gameplay quite quickly! Nice work!!
Thank you! :)
The best thing about this game is that it left me wanting more levels. I think the use of the theme is original and it's fun — hopefully there will be more levels and combinations :D
That's amazing to hear, thank you very much! :)
Cute game, unique concept :)
Thank you! :)
I’ve never tried knitting, but I’m sure it’s more complicated, right? Really cute game—had a great time!
Oh, definitely! Hopefully adding some systems later on will make up for the simplified knitting. Glad you enjoyed it nonetheless, and thank you for playing! :)
The sheep is very cute :)
It was actually one of the last additions before submitting the game - very glad you enjoyed it! :)
Art look cute. There is not much of the game tho.
Thank you! The game definitely would benefit from having some progression, more content etc. Couldn't add all that during the jam, but I'll expand the gameplay in the later versions of the game. :)
Nice concept. Could expand in many interesting ways. More sheep
I agree - more sheep will come! Thank you for playing. :)
Feels like a game ideal for speedrunning.
That actually ties very nicely with the first ideas for the game, where you are knitting under a timer, or getting higher scores for completing the items faster. I'll look into it as I'm developing the game further after the jam. :)
Love the style! This was a nice break after playing challenging games in this jam :)
Thank you! The original idea for the game was focused on the timing and speed, so it's really nice to hear that whatever came out of it eventually was enjoyable nonetheless! :)
Very cosy game. Having no punishment for failure makes it very chill. Was a bit hard to see the symbols sometimes. I liked that they filled up when you were performing an action
No punishment is a product of a time crunch (I had to scrap the scoring system completely), but definitely something I will look into as I'm finishing the game. Thank you for playing and feedback! :)
Interesting concept, but I think I would be better if there's like a timer or something, and you have to knit as many things as possible. Because of the way the control work, I think this addition will make for a more engaging gameplay. Not bad overall! Good work.
Totally agree on that, the timer was one of the original ideas and would most likely make it given some more time. Thanks a lot for the feedback :)
I really like the concept, and I sad you weren't able to make more levels! The idea looks promising and I would have loved to see more of the story! I also really liked the joke where the sheep asks for it to be his favorite color, and nana loops says "sure, as long as it's white"! Good job!
Thank you! I had lots more planned, with a bit more variety in the patterns and difficulty but had to scrap a lot to make it in time. Very glad you enjoyed the humor! :)
Love the vibe! And a great take on the theme. Good job!
Thanks a lot! :)
Really nice artwork and vibe! Also great play on the theme.
Thank you! :)
