Quite difficult, hillarious concept and great execution. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed it, will definitely try to improve the difficulty curve!

Really hard to juggle between colors, but cool idea!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, will to make the controls more intuitive

Pretty hard, but I got the hang after a few rounds. Those white clothes kept taking me out. My best score was 1880 I think. Cool game.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! You have to dodge the white clothes as they'll disappear after 1 rotation, the colored ones you have to press matching buttons

What a creative idea,  actually really cool gameplay too, while difficulty is pretty tricky it's still fun to try over and over, art is really nice, and every face on each sock looks goofy but brilliant, also it's hard to see but it's cool that the faces are animated, had a high score of ~1920, I think it would be nice if you could maybe see the trajectory/circle the clothes are moving in or make the white clothes have a thick outline so they're easier to see against the background, but still what a great concept and addicting game play too, awesome work!

Thanks for your feedback! Happy that you enjoyed the gameplay, will definitely try to improve the difficulty curve, and the trajectory idea is a good indicator, I guess. Yeah, the white clothes are sometimes a little harder to see on some parts of the background. Really glad you enjoyed it though!

Very fun game & love the art. Fits the theme well. Would love to see more variety if possible.

Thanks!

Cool idea and fun narrative! I liked Teddy's animations and the funny faces on the evil laundry! If I had any issues it'd be about visual clarity and controls. Great job! GODOT FOREVER!! ✊

Developer

I'm glad you liked the art!

Fun idea that leads to fun gameplay. I think maybe increasing the size of everything, circle included, would help with visual clarity.

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Bit too hard for me, but super cute

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! We'll definitely try to make the game easier to learn at the start.

super cute game, suprisingly difficult. nice job

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Glad you liked the art, and will definitely try to improve the difficulty curve

Cool game! Tricky to dodge stuff sometimes, but fun once I got used to it. Initially I thought that you could match the type of clothing instead of just color in order to destroy clothing too.

My high score was 2101 (it took me so long to get :p)

Developer

2101 is seriously impressive, nice job

Great idea! Poor teddy, someone free him from the washing machine!! I would love if I could move forwards and backwards in addition to up and down, would make avoiding and capturing a lot easier so I could have longer runs.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Really glad you enjoyed it. We wanted to add horizontal movement, but there became several ways the player could exploit it, such as staying in the middle. Will maybe add it in the future with good balancing.

I love the premise! It's super difficult for me but I imagine being a teddy bear trying to swim laps around a washer during a spin cycle would be objectively pretty hard irl, hahaha

Developer (1 edit)

Haha! But yeah, I figured it might be a little difficult especially at the beginning, and like I mentioned in previous comments, we'll definitely try to improve the difficulty curve in the future.

The concept is nice but I'm having a hard time playing this game. Artwork is great tho!

Funny mechanic but too hard :)

I find the controls unintuitive, but this is a decent concept, it feels like a WarioWare minigame :)

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Hmm I find it easier to use the down arrow compared to the space button

Very interesting, very fun concept! Personally, I would improve the difficulty curve, start with one color then add more..  especially as there's some learning involved. Nevertheless great use of the theme, and such good music to go with it!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Happy that you enjoyed it, yeah, I figured the game might have been a little too difficult at the start for the player to understand the controls.

Tbh, It's actually really hard to get right, esp in a jam. Since you are building the game you're an expert with the controls lol, and the jam voting becomes the playtest. 😅

(Not that it matters, but funnily one of the first games I ever built, but didn't ship, was a game where when you press the screen and a diver goes down and you side scroll through an underwater level.. similar to your game. So I know personally, this mechanic is just hard to get right for everyone's reflexes. Nevertheless what you built was fun and you innovated really nicely with the loopiness :D )

Developer

Damn, that's really cool, I think with this movement mechanic there's like a lot of variables within the physics to make sure the exp is smooth. Would love to know how you integrated it into the game you mentioned.

It is yeah! Recorded from the codebase from 3 years back.. and it still works lol  |  Youtube

I think giving a trail for incoming object helps, and making the bounce back up to be faster (akin to jump cancel in platformers)

It's simple and fun! :D

Developer

Thx! What score did u get :)
