How does your game fit the theme?
The player must play through the game, learning new abilities and being reset to the start of the level each time they learn something. With this new knowledge they loop back through the same level, but they play it differently than in the past.

really like the game, but u should be able to hold the letter g to drag blocks and not have to keep pressing iti

Sounds good, thank you for the feedback

I really like how the level was laid out! Let you learn in a way that felt natural. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

The concept is so fun haha. Its like a metroidbrania! I adore the environment, lighting, and overall presentation too! Took me a while to complete but the puzzles were fun to figure out

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

I love the concept of actually giving the player progression through knowledge of what to do with certain objects. Also after some time trying I cannot get anywhere close to that speedrun time, but I think a TAS speedrun of this would be really interesting

Developer(+1)

Hmm, I might make a tas

Great idea teaching players in between resets! Like a metroidbrainia right?

Developer(+1)

Yeah!

it a cute game with simple art that doesn't distract from the gameplay. great job getting done with the jam.

Developer(+1)

Thank you :D

It is a great game. The level design is nicely planned!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

I thought it was cool that you gradually learn the controls by reading signs! I could totally see this being a mobile game someday. Awesome work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

Submitted(+2)

Great game!! Love learning as you go!

Developer(+1)

Thank you <3

Bit difficult for me but I still had fun! The SFX are very satisfying and I love how the player explodes into little bits when you run out of moves. I liked having to explore to find out more about the game, maybe just wish for a simpler start to it? I'm not sure if I even got very far in honestly but still had a great time. :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback.

yeah, don't think we were too great at designing the levels. Though I was worried the puzzles wouldn't hold people for long enough. Glad to see I was proven wrong tho (many times.) Glad you enjoyed.

Pretty cool concept but I think the camera gets in the way. Good job!

Developer(+2)

You can rotate the camera. Arrow keys :D

I'm a little too stupid to get to the end, but I think I got about halfway. Awesome game! It's really unique, having the player learn more about the controls, and that being how they progress. Really creative and cool!!

Developer(+2)

Thank you!

The guy is cute, I liked how you have a limited amount of moves making the game strategic.

Developer(+1)

Thank you :D

Very interesting idea, kinda feels like a metroidvania and a roguelike with the way abilities progress. Although after a certain point I wasn't sure were to go next, but still enjoyable.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I understand we prolly coulda made the map a little clearer, and I appreciate the feedback

Submitted(+2)

I really like the concept of having to find out the controls by getting to the posts. Really great idea and great execution!

Developer

Thank you

Very interesting game, and I quite like the fact that you loop through the gameplay without making it feel terrible!

6/7

Developer(+1)

Thanks, glad you liked it!

Fun game! It's a cool idea to make progression learning the controls! Sometimes it got a little confusing, but overall I liked it

Developer(+1)

Thank you. What was confusing?

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

Sometimes I wasn't entirely sure where to go/what signs I had already checked or what had a key code that I forgot.

Developer(+1)

ah, makes sense. We were considering adding a notebook for the player to write in, but didn't have enough time to polish it. Where to go is up to you though, the point is exploration. I can see how it would be confusing, I prolly shoulda made exploration a clearer concept

Sea salt

Developer(+2)

Kosher salt

Decent idea. The artwork could do a bit of work. It's kind of a little weird the fact that the learning new abilities is literally, you, learning new keys. But overall not bad.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

We went for the blocky art style but thank you for the feedback

Submitted(+2)

Very interesting idea, and good implementation. I've had fun playing the game :D
But this is so complicated for me, I was stuck on the first real puzzle when portals introduced. So I just pressed random buttons until I could pick up the yellow brick to move forward

Developer(+1)

dang. Well, at least u enjoyed it.
