How does your game fit the theme?
Our game features the mechanics of tying knots: not only do you make a loop out of ropes, but you get your fingers tangled while making knots - in fact, you're now a loop too!

This game is awesome, one of my favorite for sure. Loved the art and the music. The 2d character in 3d is looking awesome and the game loop is too good to be true

A nautical twister adaptation was not something I was expecting to see in this jam but a couple minutes and a few bent fingers later, I'm happy it exists.

The concept is genius! I love how twisting your fingers actually feels like tying knots.. that's next level ludonarrative harmony. Despite encountering some unresponsive keys/buttons, I had such a fun time playing. The graphics were cute as well, so 5 stars in all categories from me :)

I had to engage octopus mode in order to play this game. I really love the visuals of the game! I feel like this could be a nice multiplayer game where your ship is constantly falling apart while you and your friend(s) are constantly trying to keep it intact by knotting things around. Keep it up!

Wish I could have more finger when I play this. Great idea

Amazing game! When can I expect a coop update? XD

Very silly game. Funny how your fingers turn into the knots.

Game was cute! Liked the concept and was excited to get tied in knots on my keyboard, however some keys didn't seem to align correctly. specifically number keys to the left of number keys I already had pressed wouldn't work? Maybe I was just missing something but sadly I kept being soft locked by this and after 4 game reloads I had to stop.

The game was generally charming art and sound wise and I think the idea was sound itself, nice work!

Thank you for playing! Sadly, this might be a technical issue, not the game's one, because there's a lot of differences between each keyboard and how they handle multiple keys inputs

ahaha, I shall have to find out which keys are being replaced. Perhaps it's a difference with keyboard layout

The idea is interesting. Also, as I don’t use a QWERTY keyboard, some keys didn’t correspond correctly, which made controls a bit tricky for me. At first, I felt like I was in a high-pressure situation, but it turned out to be more relaxed than expected. I really liked the difficulty slider at the beginning though, that’s a great touch!

really fun mechanic

I loved the music and the art, it really tied well with the concept of the game and loops. Personally I found it to be very creative, the artwork made the game feel lively and the music set the mood of the game. The only con would just be the fact that the gameplay with holding the keys isn't all too interesting but still very good despite that.

Honestly, I loved every part of this except the actual gameplay. It just didn't feel that fun to me and also seemed a little buggy where I would hold down a key and it would take a moment to respond. I'm not sure if I was making a mistake or if it was just laggy, but it wasn't super clear. Anyways with such cute little characters and art, I would've liked to see gameplay that centered more around that, but overall, I really like the tone and vibes.

This is a fun take on the theme, I like the kraken on the background.

Developer

Thank you so much, we hope you enjoyed the finger twister!

Very nice idea, love the pirate theme. Today I learned that my laptop will generally accept more than 5 keys pressed, but not with all button-combinations. Also props for the seagull sounds in the background! ;)

Developer

Glad you like it! At the beginning of the game, you can set the number of keys you can press at once. So, press 5, then release and press 5 again. Seagulls are sacred!

I have to unknot my fingers after this! Theme, art, and gameplay are all tied together really nicely. Enjoyed this game a lot! A really nice touch adjusting for the number of keys available, a little accessibility goes a long way. Doubly impressive given this is for a game jam!

Developer

Thank you very much for such a high rating! It's very nice to hear❤️❤️❤️

Quite fun trying not to get your hands twisted without letting go of the keys. Was a bit unclear which rope had to be tied next but nothing a bit of trial and error didn't overcome.

Developer

He-he, thank you very much, come back again :3

I really liked the idea of turning your fingers into a game of twister! It was fun figure out how exactly to press all the buttons at the same time! Sometimes when I pressed a button it wouldn't register the input though. Overall though, the concept was really interesting!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The game still needs some improvements, and we'll definitely make it better after the jam is over!

I really liked the art style and gameplay. Reminded me of Twister but with fingers

Developer

You guessed the idea correctly, yaaaaay, thank you for the praise!
