Really cool game with great mechanics. The piggy and rush tiles are definitely my favourite!

So cool and fun!

I really enjoyed the sound-design so much! The dice roll was so juicy.

Really cool mechanics that fit well together.

I had a blast, well done! :D

Great game! I didn’t understand what the game expected from me after the first loop, but then it quickly clicked and I found the concept really interesting. I encountered a few bugs but it really didn’t matter much. Congrats !

Thank you for playing and for taking the time to leave some kind words! If you're able to remember what the bugs were I'd love to hear em, it'll help me get them fixed after the jam :)

Sure! I remember 2 instances, I don’t think there was more.

  • I went through the shop, the panel opened but I was not able to interact with it. I had to roll my dices again and move in ordre to make a pickup choice. I remember I was low on dices roll, I even think I lost right at that moment (like: rolling dices, move all my pawns and the last pawn I moved went through shop, without the necessary amount of jewels to pass to the next loop). I don’t have the exact context but I hope that helps:)

  • This one might be a feature : I took a “finish line” kind of pickup with a pawn (let’s call him A). On its way there was another pawn which I already moved (let’s call him B). Pawn A went through pawn B. But maybe that’s intended?

Some suggestion on the side:

  • maybe improve the dice selection feedback, I honestly didn’t understand I selected a dice the first time I clicked on it haha

I’ll probably give it another try and I’ll update you if I encounter those situations again :)

You have a great memory! That helps a lot, thank you. I'll track those down to fix after the jam.

Great point on the dice feedback to! Especially in contrast to the feedback from hovering over the dice its not very noticeable. Definitely worth improving :)

Good luck with that :) and thanks haha

Who doesn't love a good die/dice mechanic?

Visually well polished and the SFX have a lot of character to them. Having the board open up was really exciting to see and a joy to get introduced to new mechanics gradually. It felt like the game had a lot to give.

Unique idea and overall really polished i think. I loved the little sound effects too.
Great game. Really cozy and chill i think :D

Interesting concept and very well polished execution!

I want to share just a couple of feedback on something that could be improved.

About the mechanics, I think they are well designed, but sometimes feels a bit too random (rolling dices, where upgrade spawns, where diamond spawns, shop choices...). I would prefer to have more control over at least one of those aspects.

The game flow is really cool, the complexity increase over time as the board expands. On the downside, because the numbers on dices do not increase, I felt like the outer loop took ages to be completed.

The game has good sounds, but I would like to have some background music help to set a mood.

Overall the game it's solid and engaging, well done! ^^

Thank you for taking the time to play, I really appreciate such thoughtful feedback!

I spent a lot of time trying to strike a balance between randomness and determinism, trying to encourage a reactive play style but allow for more elaborate long-term plans. Definitely a chance that its too swingy at the minute, once the jam is over I'll spend some more time testing which knobs can be handed over to the player :D

Thats an interesting point about the outer loop taking longer too! On one hand I find it really interesting that you have to try to sync up the different phases of the pawns, but towards the ends of rounds the outer loop can become a bit of a non-factor. Tbh I bet that's something that can be solved with a couple new movement-based upgrades!!

Thanks again for your thoughts, if you have any more feedback or ideas for where to take it I'd love to hear em!

I believe a new world record has just dropped: my little brother at 2908 jewels (almost 100x my top score lmao).

Let me know if you can beat it!

super creative and addicting this is definitely one of my favorite games from this jam!! the little details like the background being affected by the mouse and the tiles rotating slightly make it such a nice experience :-)

Such a unique idea and very polished at that! I love the simple board game style and the sound effects give it good game feel. Great job!

This game is awesome!

I wanted it to keep going forever! hahaha

I really enjoyed playing this! Watching the board get bigger was super satisfying.

It took me a little while to figure out the controls since I didn't notice the tool tips at first. A short intro or walkthrough would be a huge help for players like me who haven't heard of KOROMEKE before. Once I understood the rules, though, the game was very simple to grasp and a lot of fun.

Great work on this entry!

Thank you for the kind words and thoughtful feedback! It's really helpful to hear what the first experience is like. A few other people have said similar things so I've added a quick controls explanation to the page. I'll have a go at improving the tutorials once the jam is finished :)

Monopoly if it was good

Very cool and polished! A super solid game!

It's incredible how that many situations can arise from simple rules! Definitely had to use some brainpower

This is incredible! I wish I could keep going larger and larger . Still haven't cracked 1000 but I'm determined to try.

Could be a little more deterministic in how things are placed/resolved but it's still super fun.

Just perfect! Feels very polished. gameplay loop is easy to understand from the get-go.

Very cool, good job!

This is a super cool idea really well executed. I had a lot of fun with this one, congrats!

I really enjoy the way you mix game-board elements with this theme!! It was fun to think about how to handle the dice. My only real complaint is I wanted to keep playing the same run after it ended (Though its understandable why not)

What a cool game, the emergent complexity from the expanding board is so cool to see, and needless to say the art and very charming sound design is brilliant as well! Great job!
