Fine execution of a classic mechanic but there's some quality of life improvements that could be made. The action (E) could totally be also bound to left-click. It's not intuitive that both Q and R end the loop early, without saving the robot's actions to the next loop, and it's annoying that the only way to save actions is to let the whole 10 second loop pass. Ideally, R would not save (restart for another attempt at execution) while Q would save (end early and play the other robot).
The left click should work as [E], if it doesn't then I have some bug to fix. I have added a hint/tip system explaining the mechanics, and I will add an UI for the recording with feedback. It is a really good idea to have a button to end early with save (and to have only one for discard)! Thanks for your feedback, it is really useful :)
It took me quite some time to understand that the loop of the other robot plays while you control the second robot. Idea is nice but execution needed some more clarifying! The music is great but doesn't really fit the pace of the game. We also need SFX on important stuff like clicking the STOP button.
Also the camera is SUPER FAST, decrease the speed.
Thanks for the feedback, katsys! I agree with everything you said, I am planning to add a tutorial/hint on each level, I wasn't sure about the music either, but it was much better than nothing :) and I will add some more SFX and levels when I'll have some time, and will publish it after the voting period ended.
Ah ok I understand now, letting the loop timer run out is what triggers the recording of the movement of a bot during that loop. I like the concept! However I think without an explanation or different kind of feedback it's very easy to think letting the loop timer end is just a normal bad thing instead of an integral part of the gameplay. Since restarting the loop is so easy I just hit R or Q whenever the timer got too low.
