Congrats on making your first game of the jam! Though it took me a little while for me to understand how the controls worked, I liked the game's concept and the design.
Thank you very much for your time and feedback :) it was fun to work on this.
Bravo! I really enjoyed your game! You have the core of something really fun here, so I'm excited to see that you intend to continue to work on it. I also really like how you animated the player character while they are scaling.
The game we built has a similar core mechanic built around scaling the size of platforms that the character must walk on.
Hey there, thank you very much for your feedback.
I think Mark played your game on live stream. How great is that. I couldn't play your game in my mac on chrome. Phaser did not work for some reason. But great work :))
Did he?? I searched through the recordings on Youtube but I couldn't find it! Do you know which live stream it was in?
Ah, so sorry. I think he play a very similar another game. It's here at 13 minute mark. I'm sorry for the confusion.
No problem at all, thanks for confirming!
Thank you very much for your feedback :)
Big fan of wizard guy :)
I wish we could implement the other animations we prepared:) thanks for the feedback 🙏🏻
I think the focus should default to the closest platform, but it's certainly interesting
thanks for the feedback 🙏🏻
Great animations and visuals! Like others have said focusing on the closest platform would be a nice QoL change. Besides that sadly I got stuck on an invisible wall at certain point which prevented me from continuing. You had a really cool idea though, and expanding this with more types of obstacles would be super fun!
hey, thanks for the feedback. Did you figure out that you can scale the platforms twice? Maybe you need to scale it one more to pass the levels? We should have communicated that more clearly:)
Great premise! I like the character and his animations, looks very cute!
I was expecting 'F' key to focus the closest platform but it doesn't seem to work that way.
Camera is too zoomed imho. I believe that showing the whole level would've been better.
Hope that helps!
I totally agree with the feedback. We just didn't have enough time to figure out those but we’ll polish those things. Thank you very much.
I really like the simplicity of the concept, and the character's animations are really good. Although it did take me a little while to understand how focusing worked, but all in all, fun game.
Thank you very much for the feedback.. We will try to polish the game and give better indications for those states. 🙏🏻
The scaling animation is so funny, he looks like he’s dancing hihi
Cool platformer concept, I had fun!
thank you very much for your feedback :)) 🙏🏻🖖🏻
Nice application of the jam's theme! I stuck on the 4th level until I realize that I need to push several times F to change between stones XD
Exactly :) We couldn't implement all the UX ideas we had.. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you very much for the feedback 🙏🏻
Cool idea! I might be missing something, but it appears that after scaling up the first platform, the second platform is not able to be focused so that it can be scaled down. The "focus" keeps locking onto the first platform.
"F" button should allow you to switch between platforms that are close to player. Focusable platforms have an ancor point in the middle. If that appears you can press "F" a few times to select the right platform. Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏻
Great job completing your first game! I was surprised to hear that it was your first, you executed your idea pretty well. I like the wizard and his animations :D
Thank you very much :) My sister drew the wizard animations :))
