Quite an interesting take on the theme! I do like how you get to essentially hear how well you did instead of just seeing a number on the screen. For the piano, for placing the keys, I think it would have been more intuitive if the length and horizontal location of the keys were decided separately. As for the latter, it could be decided discretely, choosing where the black key pattern starts.

Interesting suggestion, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for playing!

Love the literal interpretation of the concept of "Build to Scale" :D.  Liked the guitar and the flute, but the piano I just don't know pianos very well I think XD.

Developer

No, I also think the piano was the weakest out of the 3. It wasn't really intuitive to understand what you're building. Still, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

this is really creative! + pretty cool to see all the parts of instruments (coming from someone who doesn't know how to put together instruments lol)

Developer

hahaha thanks!

Loved the idea, I think the execution was a little off. On the piano especially, I had no idea where anything was meant to go, so it was really a random attempt at placing it around. The guitar naturally is very easy to know where pieces go but it almost felt too easy.

- If I were to try this again, I would pick one instrument, and maybe go into a bit more detail. For example on the guitar, you could have the player place each fret, and have a tool to measure how far they should be. Then you can guide the player, and add another level to the creation of the instruments

Really interesting feedback. I'll probably not keep developing this game for now, but I'll keep that in mind if I ever come back to it. Thanks for playing my game!

Definitely take any feedback from game jams and figure out how to best implement them in your next game! It's all about improvement so don't feel like every game has to be great, mine sure isn't and boy do I know what to do next time!

That was an interesting way to fit the theme!

Developer

Thanks!

Pretty cool take on the theme! I think the angles from which you look at the piano make it hard to know what is going on, but other than that it was all pretty fun. Playing the scale at the end is awesome when it's perfectly in tune and also when it isn't hahaha

Developer

Yeah, I also had the same opinion when testing the piano, but it was too late to change it :( . Thanks for playing!

Love this idea! Got perfect, perfect and good when building a guitar and still got my ears wrecked by the end result haha

Developer

Nice, that's exactly what I was aiming for heheheh

Love the take on the theme! It's simple but my out of tune creation triggered so much visceral response hah

Developer

hahah very cool tysm!

Interesting take on the theme, pretty clever!

Also, when you fail there is a tiny spelling mistake "falied".

Developer

Thanks. I didn't notice that :)

Nice bit of chaos when you come to play your creation.

Please, make something to turn down the volume
