nicely done, love to see godot. coool premise, could be more intuitive, but I like that it got the brain working a bit :)
That's nice to hear it got your brain working! Thanks for playing :)
Whew, that got pretty difficult quick, but was simple enough to stay fun. Excellent job, died like 20 times xD
Ahh, thanks for playing! 20 deaths is pretty good, I'm glad the game didn't crash on you!
Nice puzzles! I like that you use two characters at the same time. Some music would make the game even better. Anyway, the graphics are nice and the game is easy to learn. Good job!
Thanks so much for playing! Agree with you on the music, thanks for the kind words!
Interesting game, I only died 17 times haha
Incredible! Thanks for playing!
Very cool puzzle plateformer game ! Apart from the minors issues i encountered the game is smooth to play :D
Thanks for playing, appreciate it!
Awesome idea, sweet and welcoming style. There are some bugs and movement issues but completely understandable. Well done!
Thanks for playing, and thanks for the kind words! 😁
Great game. I got 16 deaths to beat the game. No complaints here. 5/5 from me. Graphics were nice. gameplay mechanics were fun. Only criticism I could think of is lack of sound.
Cheers for playing man, and thanks for the nice words! 16 deaths is pretty good, nice one. Definitely agree with you on the sound!
Clever idea and a good use of the theme. I was so close to never dying, but one of those jumps got me!
Dang, that's incredible! Close one, which one killed you in the end? Thanks for playing!
The game it's fun and with very potential, great job
Thanks for playing! Appreciate it :)
Such an amazing concept. If youd add some sound fx and music it could be a full game!
Definitely kicking myself for not making the time to do sound effects and music - thanks a lot for playing! Appreciate it and the nice words.
This is a great game. I really like the concept and mechanics. I wonder why this game has so less ratings!
Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for playing the game!
Really great game! Love the concept, love the art, it's just great. My only gripe: I once died from a spike although I'm pretty sure I wasn't touching it? The game freezes every time you die while it reloads the level, and on that last frame you could definitely see that I wasn't touching the spike. But that only happened once and din't really bother me all that much.
Great game!
Oh no! Dang, sorry about that, that must be super frustrating. We've heard about spike hitbox from other players too, so you're definitely right about that - which level was this?
Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for playing the game! Means a lot, I really enjoyed yours!
It wasn't really frustrating, it only happened once and didn't really disturb me all that much. :)
But sadly I don't remember the level where it happened.
The usage of two character scaling mechanics is creative and makes an interesting puzzle platforming game. However, it was quite challenging to get over just one spike and this is quite frustrating, as the spike is sometimes not as big as the hitbox is. But overall, interesting mechanic, good job on the game! :)
Thanks so much for playing! We've had several people mention that about the spikes, so you're definitely right there. Appreciate the feedback! :)
I really like how you control two characters and have to scale them differently to progress! I think maybe the spikes were a little too difficult to get over at times. I also think sound design would have been really nice. Other than that, great job!
As a side note, I noticed the game is made in Godot. I would highly recommend exporting your game to html so it can be played in browser. Its really easy to do in Godot, and people will be much more likely to give your game a try if they don't have to download it.
Again, great job with the game!
Ah, thanks so much for playing the game! Definitely agree with you on the feedback. And cheers for the tip on exporting to HTML, I'll give it a go!
I found that the core mechanic was very interesting. The levels showed the potential of the concept. No sound design, which is a bit of a shame but otherwise great work!
Thanks for the kind words, and cheers for playing! Agree about the sound design, now I wished I prioritised it a bit more.
17 deaths. A very interesting core mechanic that I have never seen before.
Interesting platforming challenges that make good use of this unique mechanic in the core gameplay. Doesn't feel overdone or cheap.
It is hard to remember which key makes what box big and what box small. Some kind of visual indicator could have benefited gameplay here.
Could be a skill issue, but the hitbox on the spikes just doesn't feel right.
Solid game that compelled me to keep playing! Good job.Awesome, well done for finishing the game with just 17 deaths! Thanks a lot for playing and thanks for the feedback, means a lot!
I liked it. Fun Puzzle Design although the player controller is rather frustrating. Level 3 was a real ah ha moment when I figured it out
Glad you enjoyed level 3, and thanks for the feedback! Cheers for playing :)
