Simple and easy mechanic to understand on the go. I think the crowd was spawn too much at the first stage. Player might need more time to be used to the control first before pew pew-ing more people. But overall, an enjoyable game experience. Reminded me of older flash games. Good job! :)
Thanks for playing and constructive feedback! Originally the enemies weren't supposed to start spawning until you consume the first pastry, but we unfortunately didn't have enough time to implement that That probably would've given the player some time to learn the controls if we had added it
Loved the art style! Game was also pretty fun.

A cool survivor-like game ! I like the effects that happen when your addiction gets worse, like the addiction fire getting bigger, the attack becoming bigger and the sound and music getting more intense. It's unfortunate that you didn't have time to implement the restraint mechanic, would've loved to see how the gameplay would change. Aside from that, i think adding more enemy types and perhaps a super attack when your addiction level is at the right spot (provided you added the restraint mechanic) will also be cool additions. Overall, good job !

Simple but effective. However, a small point for improvement: I feel like there's a lack of feedback, and I didn't quite understand the purpose of the buttons at the bottom. Additionally, the camera could be positioned a bit higher to make it easier to see incoming enemies.

I enjoyed playing with it although after a while it got a bit repetitive, but other than that nice game and it's a fun concept!
I really enjoyed the exponential feeling here, the music getting crazier and camera zooming out is done really well. Would have been nice to see more enemy types or other changes as your addiction increases, but I enjoyed what I played nonetheless. Nice work!
Neat little action game! :) Is there a reason why I have to press the space bar in order to pick up the pastries but I don't for other pickups? Also I'm not sure why I fill the addiction meter, but I certainly fought off some mean colleagues!
Thanks for playing :D Yeah so originaly the idea was that if you don't properly manage your addiction, you could get some debufs and then you would have to be strategic with when you eat your pastries. Then the fact that you can't store them in your inventory would also mean that you would have to be strategic with where you are to actually be able to eat them when you need to. Well.. we did not have time to fully flesh out the addiction mechanic and so right now it does not really matter when you eat the pastries. But the space pickup mechanic was already implemented and we were to lazy to change it xD.
