Amazing concept and the art is great too. But the controls seemed weird to me and i keep pressing the wrong buttons. A bit more polish and refining and the game will be more better. Good work overall.

Thanks for the feedback, if we continue working on the game we will make sure to remove unnecessary controls to make it simpler and to prevent misinputs!

An entertaining and creative concept, the number of levels on display is impressive.

Developer

Thanks for testing out the game! We took a quantity over quality approach :)

Moving blocks can be a bit finnicky. I think a simple drop shadow would drastically improve it. There's a bit of variability in the puzzle difficulty. Additionally, with how much puzzles can require platforming, coyote time would help the responsiveness. The game as a whole is very neat, and I do enjoy the concept!

Adding a drop shadow would be both subtle and helpful! At the beginning of the jam we planned for it to be more of a puzzle game than a platformer, but as time passed the gameplay went more in that direction. After the jam, playing the platforming heavy levels really shows the need for coyote time. Thanks for the awesome feedback!

Why are there so few ratings!? A very interesting idea! Simple design, but it goes well with the atmosphere :)

I have passed 3 levels, but after the jam I want to pass all the levels!

Thanks for checking out the game, hope you enjoy the rest of the levels!

Great concept of building yourself a road up to the goal. The museum style feels great. Physics while holding the object can be improved.

We definitely spent more time on the art than the physics, glad you enjoyed the game!

I had fun playing your game! The idea is really good, and I enjoyed the overall experience. However, I found the controls to be a bit challenging. It was sometimes difficult to tell where I was placing the item I was holding, and I noticed that when I held a piece, it would still interact with other objects, causing both to move.

I also encountered a bug in the 5th episode where one of the sticks got stuck and then disappeared. Despite these issues, I enjoyed playing the game!

Thanks for the feedback, if we continue development on the game we will definitely fix these bugs!

Love the concept and had fun playing through the levels. But controls are a little bit clunky. They are fine for jam but if you are going to grow it to proper game later - consider adding some hidden player asssit to controls, like mild grid snapping at optimal positions for objects like sphere and wedges propping it up

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for the feedback, grid snapping would be a great solution to fix some of the issues with the controls!
